I know what Michael Carrick thought and he was right.
First one a cross goal. With no other shot on target for the match. Then he doesn't go anywhere near the umpires usually but you could tell, without him spitting the dummy. He was fuming!

We are terrible upfront , doesn't help having no strikers on the pitch. Starting the season with two unproven strikers is a shambles if we wanting to be in top six. We created enough chances to win two games but that is our season summed up in 90 mins, decent football but piss poor up front.
Poor side Rotherham to be fair, just kicking the ball to Hugills head won't give them much success in this league with the powerful centre backs so they need to adapt a bit to stay up I think.
Silvera chance was quite difficult on his wrong side , greenwood one in the second half was the big chance I thought to be honest.
@@oddy532 doesn't help when we lose our first seven games of the last few seasons either. Almost like we're going on a handicap like Everton losing points. But in all fairness not many sides would fair better with what is it now 13 or 14 injured players.
@@owendavies7452 spot on mate, it is piss poor preparation though isn't it every season. We are playing catch up constantly and waiting for signings in January. The one place we were really weak is up top and we have been punished for it. My mate said six points this week after west brom, I was like no chance we win both haha

I don't see why bangura would even think of going down in that position when he was clean through to be fair. The only reason we lost is because we are poor up front. Started season with two unproven number 9s is a joke when we want to be top 6. The first month we didn't even play a striker now we back to the same again because both of then not fully fit, unbelievable really from recruitment.
Greenwood does something decent then doesn't pass. My seven year old grandson passes more than silvera, he is poor to be honest. Only time a lot of these new signings look half decent is in the cup against lower league so that says it all doesn't it
