The IGPU works great with UE4 and even Rockstar's game engine. Although not working well with the Source as being seen in CS:GO. This CPU is perfect feat to play old game that you are obsessed with, without compromising a lot of cost and electricity.
The FPS in CS:GO are just a bit faster than my iGPU Ryzen 7 5800U with Vega 8, which makes little sense. I believe the video recording helped dropping some fps.
It's possible that the video recording was causing some FPS drops. However, the Ryzen 7 7700X is a more powerful CPU than your Ryzen 7 5800U with Vega 8, so it could be expected to have a better performance in CS:GO. It's worth noting that some games are more CPU intensive than others, so the difference between the two CPUs may be more noticeable in other titles.
I need to wait a month or two before I am getting a RTX 3080 so I will be "stuck" with on board GPU for a while haha, I think I need to stick to some more classical games
I didn't realize AMD only put 2 compute units for the iGPU on these desktop chips. I guess we'll still have to wait for a "g" series chip to get decent iGPU performance.
For some reason Valorant has to be separated. Death match does produce higher framrate than regular games. For sample I played Swiftplay I manage to get Bind 3 times after playing over 10+ games. The average FPS is 257, 252, 245. Deathmatch on same map would be 288 and 313. The iGPU is really impressive though because I use GTX 1080 ti for those test and 1080p low with drivers tuned for performance over image quality. Getting 280+ is my goal because I'm on the 280 hz monitor. I recently started testing it again this time recording on the GPU. My average fps in Bind map would increase to 287, and 297. I need to play more to get more information. I haven't got Bind Deathmatch for a while. So far it's really above 280 on average if it's recorded on the GPU on many maps.
Hi, I've just finished building my pc with Ryzen 7 7700x and I tried going to Valorant's range and I'm only getting 40-50 fps. I installed adrenalin as well and got the drivers for the igpu. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!
Maybe this IGPU is not meant for gaming, they put it to make computer work on basic needs. If you are gamer why will you settle on IGPU anyway; So IMHO it meant for basic task.
Hi how were you getting this fps in valorant using the igpu? Any different or special settings? Im using the 7700x igpu in valorant right now and im only getting about 50-60fps. Could you list your motherboard and ram settings
Since it igpu probabl check ur ram setting some bios doesnt detect ur ram speed as written on memory box so u need change it manually or even better overclock it slightly
Thanks for your comment! You're right, I could definitely get better FPS with RAM that runs at 6000MHz. I'll definitely try it out and see if it makes a difference.
Thanks for the question! I'm using a Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4 cooler, which is definitely helping me to keep the temperatures low. Additionally, I'm also trying to keep the inside of the case as dust-free as possible. I hope this helps!
Thanks, yea the AI uses CPU resources of the host machine, the more bots you have the more it uses. Since this game is manly played online for accurate results it's best to do it on a non-local server. I would recommend doing it on a close to full community hosted competitive server. These are similar to the competive experience but you can leave at any time. But an official casual game would also do the trick. Thanks for taking the time to reply

In the begining of igpu, bouth igpu ang gpu coud work in the way when you are out of game in windows igpu would work and when a game is started dedicated graphics card would work. Is that still the thing? Does that work?
Yes, that is still the case. Many modern laptops and desktops come with dual video cards, so you can switch between the integrated GPU (iGPU) and the dedicated GPU while in Windows. When you launch a game, the dedicated GPU will take over for the best performance.
They do but they are awful and not intended to game. The 7000x iGPU’s only have 2 graphical cores compared to the 5700g 8 cores.Sadly AMD won’t be releasing any 7000G CPU’s until late next year. But are rumored to be releasing 6000G desktop versions by the end of 2022.
I have never seen Forza 5 look so bad. I don’t see why people even use iGPU, decent GPUs are only around $300-$400. Unless your on a really tight budget I guess
Could be a multitude of reasons, budget being one of them. Availability of the desired GPU could be another. Could also be that, typically, outside of a few areas, components cost considerably more so people are priced out despite their budget. Don't forget super small form factor builds too.
