It's ironic considering the lore of Faith in its entirety, mainly the fact that for a demon possessing the (supposedly) emaciated body of a 15 year old body, Jacob(?) Is surprisingly somehow strong enough to *tear* John apart literally, though John is surprisingly frail in-game
Pretty sure it’s playing into the inherent power of demons. They’re meant to be stronger, even compared to fate servants. It’s a metaphysical difference, like comparing an ant to a mountain.
@@Cawcawphony27 Here's the thing though, with how the demons (and Hell in general in Faith) works, there are countless demons all of various strengths and ranks/levels of power. We're not told what _exactly_ possessed the Jacob(?), but it's mainly just implied to be some random "low-rank" demon meaning that there should've been at least some protection from it, seeing as John's faith was at its strongest during Faith Chapter 1. Now, for literally almost ALL other demons you meet in Faith, it's made clear that they're all not only _very_ powerful, but also that John's faith was decreasing (his cross goes from gold, to silver, and then bronze throughout the chapters) which would justify why even just some of them were capable of either possessing John or just outright killing him upon contact, but it's specifically in Chapter 1 that it just feels _odd_ that the emaciated body of a 15 year old boy that hasn't been fed nor taken care of for God knows how long is somehow capable of tearing John apart when all it took was a shotgun to stop the body
@@Marblesoda821 point. But now you have me wondering how Alternates from Mandela catalogue fair. Considering what “Gabriel” managed I think faith does jack to them…if you know, you know why.
Also the demon probably had immense strength, but was limited by its frail host. It’s strong, but because its host was so frail it wasn’t very durable. Most possessions work like that. They get a lot of power, but are limited by the frail human body they’re possessing.
Great video! Just a small little nitpick. Th character text is a bit hard to read when it appears letter by letter on the video! So I feel it may be better to just have what the characters say just show up instead of appear like that. Again, just a small nitpick! Awesome video
omg faith the unholy trinity reaction so rare think they could react to Aviators - Hell Has an Elevator (Faith: The Unholy Trinity Song | Southern Alternative?
Great video I would like if these characters reacted to this video (𝙻𝚒𝚟𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙸𝚗 𝙼𝚢 𝙵𝙰𝙸𝚃𝙷 ( 𝘓𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘹 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘔𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘮 𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙄𝙓 )). I don't know if you know of it, but it is basically the final confrontation of Mortis as in the video only with a character from the biding of issac.
The servants of fate are no match for... A PRIEST WITH A LOT OF FAITH (and another with a shotgun)
The GWOB (Gun with one bullet)
Must be The Colt, but shotgun
I love how one kept saying their stronger when in reality the demons tear em apart like cheese
Honestly, id say at this point just have them react to the whole lore of the game so they can see the challenges John has to go through.
I like this maybe them reacting to more of the game will be even better I hope you continue with this
