Perhaps its unrelated but i remember couple years ago i watched aly and Tom together, that tom that wears beanie hat, anyone knows what happened to him,,, im sorry if its something tragedic or else happened to both of you but i absolutely dont know,,

Exactly that!!
Definitely have a false classism from dialects and accents in the US. There's a (false) presumption of limited intelligence around our southern, especially Appalachian, dialect. Some dialects are associated with personas...Bronx=Tough Guy, etc.
Sorry but I can't get the point....I mean, in Italy we have many accents as well, but the right way to pronounce a word is one and only one, and we are aware of it. In my region, for example, we mispronounce some words but we know we are wrong, and in a "public" context we try to correct it (not when we talk to a friend of course...). Maybe english is different...
Interesting! I didn’t know that about Italian! In English it’s first and foremost can you be understood? anymore than that is simply geographical (where you grew up) or preference ✌️🤓
Thank you, now I understand: it's a more "practical" language. Also in sentences structure, english is by far more synthetic, which is good.
