I love this song. I'm Dutch, and my mother performed this song in a Dutch translation. From the start I fell in love with tis song as a little girl. I searched everywhere for a recording, notes or text but could never find it under the Dutch title. Until I moved to Oslo and played just the melody on my clarinet at a julebord with friends. They instantly recognised it instantly. Now this song is a core memory and my favourite Christmas song
