The Majano Wand works reasonably well to get rid of the majanos. It is not a shocking tool or a laser and does not seem to adversely affect the tank as long as you don't zap too many at one time. For aiptasia definitely peppermint shrimp
My Pygmy Cherub Angelfish has kept my tank clear of them. I didn't even know it was until my first one died and I had an outbreak. When I got another Cherub angle they all disappeared again.
Good options , but in reallity , nothing really works 100% , its a constant battle.., once a week i hit them really hard with Aptasia X , while my File Fish just watches ...
I’ve had a few frags with aiptasia on it. I dipped them in some tank water with Peroxide. And it completely killed the aiptasia. I’ve tried the aiptasia x and it didn’t help at all. They spread like crazy. Peroxide dip works best.
Yep! Hydrogen peroxide will kill them for sure. The trick is making sure that you don't also kill other stuff - doing it in another tank works well. Not so easy when they're growing on rock you can't remove like mine were though :(

I haven't heard of the Majano Wand before. Thanks! I'll have to take a look!

Nice video Aiptasia & Majano are a pest in most reefs. Try as I may they always seem to get into the reef :)
Yea, they always find a way in. Just need to keep an eye out and catch them before they spread.
Are they a problem for fish? I don't have xorals@@ReefMan
Nice video, keep us updated on your tank :-)
Hypertonic saltwater solution in a syringe. This can be followed up with H2O2.
Yea that works well if you don't have many anemones.
Great videos! Personally I just like to cover them up with more corals:)
Hah if only it was that easy!
