Noah Freedom no catalyst is a shit the movment the sound , the story/mission is a shit the gameplay is boring the combat, usinng the gun was so much better
Catalyst in my opinion feels smoother and much more fluid But the biggest gripe is just that it feels linear or there is just a lack of pathways to take in order to go from building to building in freeroam
no, it actually controls like budder. the controll layout is really fitting, left click is punching, right click disarms, q is to turn around and fall backwars, shift is to slide, crouch, and roll.

So I feel they just choose popular songs and add big bass to gain popularity.
I like that idea. Something along the lines of the Runner team has to pick up the Runner Bags and get them to the drop off point...And the Pursuit Cop team has to recover the Runner Bags by taking out the Runners, by hand-to-hand combat or stun gun only. Points being earned for each team depending on how many bags were delivered or recovered, and then swapping sides each round. I'd enjoy that!
***** Desmond's not really that bad at Parkour. He's just outshone by his ancestors whom we played 90% of the games. He doesn't really get the chance to show his full potential. Mirror's Edge is the closest we could get to a modern day Assassin's Creed game. I actually kind of like this idea. :) A change of pace from the past settings into modern city ruled by Templar dictators in a dystopian society. ;)

this game isn't really short actually, it has a short amount of levels, but each level can take up to 30 minutes at least. and for buying this game, I recommend using steam, if you don't know what that is, its an application that lets you buy games and download them directly to your computer

What you're thinking of is Free Running, which is not was Faith does. She does Parkour, where flips/spins/twists are not utilized unless they are necessary.
This isn't a free mode DLC. This is the Pure Time Trials map DLC. It is on Xbox 360 and PS3. It can be used as a free mode if you just ignore the timer though
or free roam in a big city, jump from rooftops to rooftops with friends or online with strangers, and no guns to start with, but you are able to get them somehow. Team Deathmatch would also work out pretty great, Co-op gameplay would probably be the best though.
wow does everyone realise just how ridiculously difficult it would be to code faiths's movements it takes WEEKS to just code a significant jump with animations imagine coding all the animations for long-jumps, sprinting, vaults, walljumps e.c.t that would be the hardest part of making the game

im not exactly sure neither as i do a mix of both but my friend explained it as parkour is about moving around freely not haveing to worry about obstacles meanwhile free running is the same thing but its more about tricks such as b-twists and wall running (which yes is possible)
If there ever is an Mirrors Edge 2 (god forbid ea from ruining it) i hope they make this an extra, making your own tracks using basic block shapes like this.

Uhh, the steps in putting them on seem to be a bit off. Step 2 I can only go so far as 'Documents\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\TdGame\' There's no Published folder afterwards. And I am using the Steam version, but since it says to do Steps 1 to 3 beforehand, I'm pretty lost.
@Joseph Keating This would be the social hub of the multiplayer and added would be things such as Chase, where some people are cops with guns and loadouts and there are free runners. This would be done on a certain part of the campaign. Come on EA!

So... freerunning is a hobby, and parkour is treating that hobby as a sport... that means it's basically the same difference as the one between skateboarding for fun and skateboarding as a sport... which means it's the same thing.
It would work so that each team has 2 guns, a light gun (pistol, machine pistol, taser(from the runner cops)) and a heavy gun (Sniper, Assault Rifle, HMG, Shotgun, SMG, ect, ect.) you would be able to free run only while a light weapon is equipped (sorry for repeat commenting)
actually free running and parkour are different. free running you just run around randomly. parkour you designate where you go a bit like a gps and you follow the route

Those tricks and flips is used to reduce the impact from long falls.
Imagine: Mirror's Edge multiplayer, no guns to start out and a very wide variety of game types possible, I think it could work.
It is a prakour game. Freerunning is incorporating flips and tricks into Parkour. I'm surprised how many people think they know this, but they don't.
