as someone on discord already mentioned: yes, i accidentally morphed the orc riding the wolf before the bg portal into a skull... didn't notice it while recording the video lol

Nice and relaxing stuff, once again! I saw some stuff I never noticed amidst my attempted killing sprees over years, like the food on the table (7:02) and the blue braziers atop towers (6:36 and others). I'm glad you kept the music for me to enjoy mindfully for the first time. The outtabounds view around 13:48 was particularly nice, as well. Thank you for another enjoyable video, and congratulations on rewriting the tool! 🏯🪵🚩

Mic was really quiet at the start and very hard to hear. Otherwise great content.
It's also very funny how at 11:22, that splotch is also certainly due to a terrain designer switching colors on the texture pallet paint tool, and testing to make sure he has the correct tool currently selected. Most people do the same thing in Photoshop or Paint -- it's universal haha. Looks like those checkerboard bars are also used to denote the start of infinite height invisible walls.

thanks for the feedback,... got a new mic, still have to figure out the settings in order to not sound like ass XD
if i am not mistaken, the pink/white cuboids are using in game logic (there is other instances with those, like zul aman for example) for triggering logic etc.
don't ask me why they went the way of having an explicit object for that... maybe that way it is easier to represent it in the game world and have it adjustable by just dragging the object instead of changing coordinates in the code.

@@DrFrugal Interesting. They are placed at the exact spots where I know there are massive invisible walls (to stop cheaters from jumping the fences).

i think they are NOT ONLY used for invisible walls, BUT ALSO game logic (triggers).
guess it was/is a common multi purpose tool in the devs aresenal.
if i am not mistaken you get teleported back to the waiting room at the start of the bg, if you manage to clip out of it... logic could be something like "if horde player y position is lower than funny pink/white box y position, then teleport hord player to horde waiting room".
