I’m so excited! We will be doing this for this upcoming school year!! Thank you for this video btw!! I tried looking some up, but they’re all older videos so this one came at a great time!! 😊
Thank you so much for this video! So helpful! Especially seeing the thorough Gather Round flip through. Peaceful Press has my interest, for sure. I am just trying to understand a bit better how it works. I see the days have suggested structure and ideas for activities and books to read, but does the historical information have a clear structure? Is there enough of a spine, so to speak? Just wondering how it would flow as I am assuming, I'd be using different sources for literature throughout... but not really any sort of textbook? Just curious how that works without getting confusing. Thank you so much for any information... I very much appreciate it! Also... has anyone tried combining Story of the World with The Precious People? Not really sure if/how that would work but worth an ask, maybe. Thanks again! 😊
How funny. I am actually using this same gather round unit, but I am using it with story of the world book 1! The timing of this video was perfect. We actually started story of the world last week but I was thinking, I can print the digital ancient civ from gather round to go with this. And then I saw the new video post on instagram on Friday or Saturday or something and was like, gotta watch that before my new printer gets here. So now I am ready to start printing. 😂
This was incredibly helpful!!
We are using PP this year, and I completely forgot we have Ancients from a few years ago. I am excited to go print the coloring pages! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this! Would love to see how you are using both simultaneously as well. 😊

EXTREMELY helpful- thank you for this video!!
I’m so glad!
Do you think the gather round one could be used as a once a week history lesson if just using the teacher guide?
Yes!!
Super helpful thank you!
My pleasure!
I have had such a hard time seeing previous people on RUclips, I only found one older video!!
So thank you!

Love it!
How is using Story of the World with Gather Round? I've been thinking of doing this.
I have a 16year old girl and 9 year old girl. Do you think precious people would work for high school?
I do because you can always supplement with additional books!!
