Why doesn't he believe that kenya can be one? Which tribe should children born of parents from different tribes associate with? Most genZ's he thinks he understand are members of inter-tribal marriages, are from tribe Kenya and understand swahili/English as their mother tongue. Besides, Luhyas historically migrated from west-central Africa, many settled in western and others were spread out in other regions within and without Kenya. If your ancestry argument holds, then they even those in Western region of Kenya are still diasporans since their ancestors are from other parts of Africa. You can only be a diasporan if you move out of the country; We Kenyans are tribe Kenya; any other mindset is bigotry.
