Petula can not abide the English version of this Tony Hatch classic. However she loves singing it in French. Which for me is a great shame because I absolutely love the English version of "My Love." I have to admit that I was quite taken aback when I learnt how much she reviled this song. I do believe she thinks it is too simple and over sentimental. I LOVE IT. And I must admit it does sound great in French as well.
