  • Pepper Steak & Jasmine Rice
    Grocery List / Ingredients:
    Steak
    Bell Peppers
    Onions
    Mushroom (optional)
    Cilantro/ Parsley
    Chopped Garlic
    Blackened Seasoning
    Onion Powder
    Garlic Powder
    Black Pepper
    Paprika
    Soy Sauce
    Hoisain Sauce
    Sriracha
    Corn Starch
    Beef Stock
    Butter
    Jasmine Rice
    Cook peppers and onions for about 5-8 until med done. You can buy the steak already cut in strips or you can cut it yourself. Make sure the strips aren't to
    big. Cook the steak for about 10-12 or until cooked to your desired texture.
    After steak is cooked you can add the pepper Onions and the can of mushroom. For the sauce add beef broth and hoisain sauce. If you want it more spicy you can add more Sriracha sauce. To make
    your gravy thick add the juice from the gravy in another small bowl with cornstarch. Mix together and pour it in the pot of steak. If you would like the gravy
    more think repeat that step again. Do not just pour the corn starch in the pot it will be lumpy and make
    the food bitter.
    For the perfect rice you. For every cup of cup of rice you must add 1 cup of water. I always use plastic cups to measure out mines. I also add thyme and butter or butter and Italian seasoning to my rice.
