As a guy who has struggled with a history of having homosexual sex with some of my friends a while ago, that shame stuck with me for a while. I said Jesus never mentioned it, as in the New testament. Granted, Jesus says he upholds the old laws, which includes those stories. The old laws also punish working on the sabbath with death too, which starts on Friday nights, but I can't imagine you'll be stoning a neighbor tomorrow for shoveling snow or serving you lunch. This song is not hateful, why are there hate in these comments?? I love gays and straights. My uncles are gay, my parents are straight. This song is jus taking a stance and posing important questions, it's presenting valid points. It's not desiring to force anyone to agree with God's design. Considering gay rights movements are fighting for homosexuals' rights to marry in CHURCH. If they want to marry in church, shouldn't they first accept their values? The thing that always bugs me when someone compares two adults having sex to adults having sex with children, is that they don't seem to understand the problem with an adult having sex with a child in the first place. You would think the difference between two adults willingly having sex together and someone raping a child would be clear, but apparently not. I said Jesus never mentioned it, as in the New testament. Granted, Jesus says he upholds the old laws, which includes those stories. The old laws also punish working on the sabbath with death too, which starts on Friday nights, but I can't imagine you'll be stoning a neighbor tomorrow for shoveling snow or serving you lunch. This whole video basically boils down to: "I believe a particular interpretation of my religions core text that says your sexual orientation is wrong and I think I should be able to force my religious values onto everyone else through law".
Considering gay rights movements are fighting for homosexuals' rights to marry in CHURCH. If they want to marry in church, shouldn't they first accept their values? Nevertheless, I disagree with a lot of the things this dude says. At the same time people are acting as if he's a moron while in reality he just has a different perspective.

Secondly, what makes you think that the gay rights movement as a whole is about fighting for homosexuals to have the right to marry in any church they want? Do straight people even have the right to marry in any church they want? Can a straight Muslim couple force a particular church to let them marry there?
Most homosexuals just want the right to get married. They want equal rights with regard to marriage. If a Muslim couple doesn't have the right to get married in any church they want, then Gay people just need the same rights any other straight couple has, which does not include the right to get married in any church they want. If a Muslim couple can get married in any church they want, then gay people shouldn't have to accept a particular interpretation of Christianity in order to get married in a particular church since straight couples don't have to.

The thing that always bugs me when someone compares two adults having sex to adults having sex with children, is that they don't seem to understand the problem with an adult having sex with a child in the first place. You would think the difference between two adults willingly having sex together and someone raping a child would be clear, but apparently not.

Brian, there is no persecution here, there is only representation of the truth! There is a sin that is much more rampant and out of control in our society and that's fornication. However, that is ground that the enemy has already taken over. The only reason that we are here talking about homosexuality is because this is the current battle of our times. We are here for the future of our children and for those who are lost in this sin, to understand that the reason there is so much pain and dysfunction in their lives is because they are living outside of God's perfect will for their lives. Look at Romans 1:26-27: Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. This is the truth we are sharing. As Christians we are supposed to be the salt of the earth. Why would it be pointless to live without a God? We have just been thought there was one since we were born, and as children we don't know how to think and process things for ourselves, therefore we believe its true without ever thinking about it later on in life.
