As i've gotten older ..audio for me has added such a big factor to war games. The fact that u can hear the magazine hit the ground at 0:40 is incredible.
Great Trailer though I feel there is just something missing. A Mikee voiceover going over some history of the weapon, optimal engagement ranges and maybe a tip or two would complete this, otherwise nice work.
That is one thing that I hope comes, but considering they were permanently unfolded in the previous game I kinda doubt it will happen. It's not bad on the AKs but I find the grenade launcher sights on the M203 and AG36 fairly obtrusive in this game when they're always out.
I wish the G36K was more realistic. Right now it has way too much recoil especially with magnified optics. It's completely out classed by every other 5.56 gun.

I am am a huge fan of the rapid footsteps. Most games have you "sprint" with a mere 1-2 footsteps a second. But when you're actually sprinting in a high stress environment.... .Man, the audio for this game is so on point it's almost the sole reason i pre ordered the game. And i'm still typing because i just bought my first mechanical keyboard and it's fucking zesty. Also got some logitech 623's and i'm super hyped to blast this game.

Also, the G36 is an assault rifle, not an LMG made for continuous firing, all rifles will lose their zeroes if shot for a prolonged period of time, so use it like one.
Any plan to add a working leaf sight adjustement for the grenades launchers ? the game would memorize your previous settings (50m, 100m, 150m...etc) when you relaunch your game, the same way it save your weapon firemode (semi/auto) .

I m really hoping that this launch is as smooth a possible and all the things (contrast increase when under suppression and in general) will be fixed. Performance got a huge boost during the september 13 update. Is there any news or approximate timeframe when the next patch will be arriving?
I have really high hopes for this game as I've played all the other NWI games but at the moment when I play this game it stutters like crazy and I've played bf1 and bfv just fine so I hope upon release it'll be good
As much as I love the game, it irks me that full auto has become the norm now. I’m not sure if it’s because bullets do jack shit or if the hit boxes are messed up, but semi auto seems to be unusable in PVP. Takes away from the realism. The first game had AP rounds, so maybe those should make a comeback. If that issue was fixed, this would be a 10/10 for me.
RockingRooProduction Insurgency was never about realism and bringing back AP rounds will make it just like having Stopping Power from CoD (Not balanced at all).

AP rounds made running heavy armour absolutely pointless since AP rounds didnt have much of a downside and were cheap enough to fit into any loadout. They've made AP inherent to some guns and the higher calibre rifles (Minimi has AP 5.56). Now heavy armour is actually worth something.
The Animations become faster and his Hands are even getting shaky, when the soilder is under stress (like taking hits, laying under suppressive fire and stuff)
It's a nice detail they have added and it's appreciated, but they still look too slow and smooth in execution, thus breaking immersion. Afaik there's only one guy animating those reloads, I guess it'd be too much of a workload to make the animations "life-like", which is understandable.
I love the leaf sight on the grenade launcher! Does this grenade launcher only become attachable to this gun or will it to the others? I really hate the little iron sight that the first Insurgency has, the tall leaf sight is the best.
Not only head can be dismembered, but the fact that blood is always comes from torso and that gore is boring, makes me wish there were no gore at all, it just looks bad. Like, kill someone with headshot - blood from torso. Kill someone with explosion, he lost legs - blood from torso. Ewww.
Yes, that's what I said. I just pointed out that the head doesn't decapitate(there's no head rolling around) and it only has a really cheesy explosion animation. It's not like you can shoot someone's jaw off or anything cool like that. All of the limbs can be found, but the head just disappears. I hate it. Also, the gaping wound of the neck looks cartoony like the explosion.
I loved when they added the S&W Model 10 in the previous game, I was thinking it would be cool if they brought that back with a revolver for each team.
Please don't abandoned the 1st insurgency for us lowly plebs who can't afford to have a computer to run this new one , like we need some new maps and others thing , will gladly pay for it too , it's such a good game :(((
Actually, playing Insurgency feels weird because it doesn't have the melee/breaking doors. Plus, the bots are better, the sound is better, I like the fire support, I like the banter and such, and it looks better. There are things that Insurgency does better, though. Hopefully, those will be addressed in time.
Can we change aiming sight "on fly"? I mean, if I'm with Sniper Rifle (Optical Scope) and I'm in building: I want use regular sight of rifle, not Optical. Sorry for my bad English.

Not really much to brag about when most gamers don't actually care if they're not playing the version with the best graphics or the highest FPS rate. Then there's the undeniable fact that console gamers have a very clear advantage that PC gamers don't. When you buy an $800 to $1,500 gaming PC, you're set...for a few years, then you gotta upgrade it if you want to play the newest games on their highest settings. Or buy a new OS if the shiny new game you want to play doesn't support the one you're using now. When you buy a $300 to $400 gaming console, you're set, you can play any game released for that console from the consoles launch date right up to when they stop making games for it. Only thing you might want to upgrade is the internal HDD if you want to have more games installed at one time. Another one would be if you just got a new game but it needs an update. On PC with Steam, if the update has already started downloading, that's it, you can't play the game until the update is done. On PS4, you can start the game with or without the update.

I've played the CTA and I play the beta, recoil is a fair amount higher than seen here, though it is quite low when you have a compensator and foregrip attached.

Looks good, just the bump on the magazine is not needed on the g36 series. It just slides in perfectly without it.

It has blood pools, but it always comes from the torso. It has dismemberment, but the head only explodes(the worst part of the gore system.)

This is the G36K, the carbine version of the G36. It doesnt have the integrated scope carry handle, just that weird floating picattiny rail. Soz man.

There really isnt a lot of recoil :P
It has more recoil than it appears to here, especially if you've been running or are being fired at.

Yeah just like in real life.
I've played the CTA and I play the beta, recoil is a fair amount higher than seen here, though it is quite low when you have a compensator and foregrip attached.
