I saw that post on Instagram! :3 I’m not in CompSci but I am taking an online IT course right now! I’m an Indian woman so seeing another poc being successful in a stem field is really inspiring! 💙
Number 5 is very refreshing to hear! I've always known all of what you said about it deep down. Thanks for the validation and for putting this out here! Also number 7 resonates strongly with me as well! :)
Got broken clocks playing by Sza at the beginning??!! you winning with that! you're videos are very helpful! I'm taking 3 AWS certs through the VA Vet Tec program and you're videos have been golden! please don't stop making content.
u know it s the first time m seing you in youtube but trust me i watched this 10 min video , i feel that it s changing my life i loveee youuu for this i love you so much for what u just said in the video, minutes ago i was just beating myself up because i literally do not get good grades in this major but thanks for that so much
I never dropped a class because all of the ones I struggled in were a required pre-requisite and were mostly taught by the same teacher. I took a semester off to do a internship but I made it up during the summer.
@@MayaAlexus good to hear. I am a returning student. I made Dean's list part-time so i decided to go full-time ( while working fulltime, mother, wife etc...) i overloaded myself and everything was sounding the same. Part-time is definitely best for me. Thank you for sharing your testimony. I am hoping to be selected for a free AWS cloud practitioner free program/ cohort at my school
I really appreciate your videos. I have a question if I was in school for computer Information Technology should I just study for the AWS certification and AWS cloud practitioner to see which language I wanted to work with?
There are many people who have no tech background at all but pursue AWS certifications. To pass the cloud practitioner, you don’t need to know a coding language. And to know what language you want to work with depends on what services you’re using in AWS, it varies.
after all of your experience , wouldnt you agree to say that it's all about confidence at the end of the day ? like if you know for a fact and for sure before doing something that you are capable and will do it , wouldnt this be more than enough to actually do it ?
Exactly ...Google and RUclips are the your friends ...they help a whole lot .... I'm a student here in Africa ...most times lecturers and professors may not attend classes .... So I always always use Google and RUclips ... And also having study groups as well

Great information. I would like to know, after struggling did you drop classes or go part-time instead of full time?

Hey Maya, regarding to using RUclips videos to reteach yourself, are you going through the RUclips video sample questions?
