I edited this because poppy playtime chapter 2 has been released and Poppy is actually helping the player!! (Original: I think it’s a good idea to open the case. Poppy wants to help the player)

Whether or not opening the case was a good or bad idea, no one can know for sure. But the hero would eventually do such because at that point there was really no other direction to go. I suppose one could think of it as good in the sense that the protagonist freed that pour soul that was trapped in that case for a decade . .
