@baglervb Start battledirector, create local server, press ` and write in: demo.recorddemo [filename] when you done then write demo.stoprecording then open a screen recorder (Fraps) and start the demo with battledirector, so you can record it
For what I understand, DICE wanted to make 2143 next, but after the successes of BF3, EA pretty much nudged them towards BF4 right away. EA wants to capitalize on the momentum BF3 has granted them so I can understand why they would want that, but I really hope to see 2143 in the near future.

He probably just took a short video of each of the firing animations, then got the sounds from the Battlefield folder.
BF folder -> mods -> bf2142 -> soundclient.zip -> VO for voices, weapons for weapons. (the count down is in VO, folder name betty)
