i quote your word prime, among all PGs that are exists now, this one is the most badass looking for me, even PG 00 raiser doesn't even stand a chance =D thanks for reviewing it
damn, that's one sweet kit. I've got the Astray and I thought i'd be bored building (essentially) an identical inner frame... but you've changed my mind. I gotta get that Strike Rouge!!!!
I have to agree. There are a lot more details in the PG Strike (¥ 14,000 [PG Skygrasper ¥ 5000]) than the PG Strike Freedom (¥25,000) but that's just me. Plus, we don't need extra needed work for the Strike in contrast to Strike Freedom's gold parts, which is a 'must' to paint those puky gold, and the backpack issues that tends to break due to the weight (See Syd's WIP on GunplaTV for a suggested workaround). But if you can get through those issues, Strike Freedom is okay.
great review! the hobby shop near me has a pg chars zaku 2 that i want to get but this seems like a better buy. i would definitely get the aile pack as long as it transforms cause having the grandslam in one hand and the aile in sword mode in the other seems pretty awesome to me.
This is an excellent starter for a first-time Perfect Grade kit builder. Sadly, the PG Astray's articulation is a wee bit more limited despite having a similar inner frame as the Strike, but it's still quite an great kit in and of itself. It's a shame Bandai chose not to release the other two PG Striker Packs, but it's nice to know that they at least reached the prototype stage with them. Perhaps someday...
Finally a better review of PG strike launched..i wonder what'll be if is you're happen to review the GHD Strike PG..i had Bandai and GHD PG Strike in same place and i find out both of them are awsome...
And this is a lot cheaper than the newer PGs(Red Frame, 00 Raiser and Strike Freedom) and it has better articulation than them. It also looks a lot sleeker than the new ones. You can also get the PG Skygrasper(About 50 Bucks USD) that comes with a stand, the skygrasper and the Aile Striker Pack
i like this kit, its not too fancy and bulky and it has a military and solid snake-y feel to it. cause of the daggers, and its rifle that looks like a machinegun. lol
A beautiful model and I totally get the batteries after spending a wet hundred dollars spending 10$ on tiny batteries make you feel like your going to go broke
im quite upset that i lost the sticker sheet while assembling it. just like the usual case of little polycaps falling off the desk and simply disappear.
@Exsimonce many said that among perfect grades, there are 2 of them which totally damn good... they are Strike and Astray Red Frame... many said that the strike freedom is a failure...
strike rouge is my first perfect grade i still havent build it yet but im working on it im thinking of buying the striker weapon system soon to see if it fits it or not also i think the PG zeta is more of a perfect grade seeing how impossible it is to build
i wonder what the hole on the big fat sword (that's what i call swords that are big and long) is for? i really do think that bandai made that for a weapon or you could display it on a holder if you don't want it on the strike as a sacred strike dagger i would call it
this is mainly the reason why people are kinda disappointed when PG SF came out, what with the less articulate joints and less parts, and the overall MGish look
prime92... i am hoping to get some of these for the x-mas year. i have found a website called tatsu hobby. they have both ones i want. the strike and the red frame. should i get them? or not
I'm not fond of these newer perfect grades. They seem to be more simple, streamlined, almost more like a large master grade instead of a perfect grade. The older PG's are the way to go for me.
Prime, you have awesome Gundams, customized pieces, and great how to...you camera sucks though. i have a hard time listening to you because of the sound quality. again i love you videos, but spend allot of time scanning to the good parts or dropping the volume all the way down. not trying to be rude, I'm just trying to help you become a little more awesome.
Ehhhhh... I'm just not that impressed by the design of the Seed Gundams... It looks like a pretty cool model, and I do like the mechanisms... But I wish there were more PG Gundams from other series, since like 50% of the line is dominated by just Seed mobile suits.
+耀光梁 honestly, i dont think any kit is really difficult, so long as you fallow the dirrections. it's just a matter of time, however i've never built a pg so i dont know.
the engineering on that leg articulation is a thing of beauty...
i quote your word prime, among all PGs that are exists now, this one is the most badass looking for me, even PG 00 raiser doesn't even stand a chance =D
thanks for reviewing it

best gun dam you'v ever done a review on

I have the Strike Rouge. it's my first Gundam model. It makes a good bedroom ornament.
@TypeLP6704SV Well, Red Frame is the Strike inner frame with new armor. So it makes sense.
I have always love this kit!!!
one of the pg that looks like a pg when you like at a glance. the details are befitting that of a pg
This is an excellent starter for a first-time Perfect Grade kit builder. Sadly, the PG Astray's articulation is a wee bit more limited despite having a similar inner frame as the Strike, but it's still quite an great kit in and of itself.

finally...
Great review! I ordered one my self from HLJ but I've got to wait untill they get it re-stocked before it ships : (
WOW!!! RG is almost equivalent to the PG!!!!! Bcos my RG is extremely detailed just like the PG ones!
Finally a better review of PG strike launched..i wonder what'll be if is you're happen to review the GHD Strike PG..i had Bandai and GHD PG Strike in same place and i find out both of them are awsome...
dang that guy big!
And this is a lot cheaper than the newer PGs(Red Frame, 00 Raiser and Strike Freedom) and it has better articulation than them. It also looks a lot sleeker than the new ones. You can also get the PG Skygrasper(About 50 Bucks USD) that comes with a stand, the skygrasper and the Aile Striker Pack
gotta say, this has sold me on getting it. course the skygrasper & aile striker pack pg kit are hard to find since they go out of stock fast.
haha, cloud style made my day
i like this kit, its not too fancy and bulky and it has a military and solid snake-y feel to it. cause of the daggers, and its rifle that looks like a machinegun. lol
i believe screws comes in when arms are heavy and legs and stuff or ... the Gundam need support on the heavy part
I've been thinking of getting a PG kit now that I have several MG kits under my belt. This or the Strike Rogue are the two leading candidates.
You can find those same batteries on Amazon.com for 5 dollars for a pack of 5. I got free shipping on that set, too.
@AgitoTwinks I doubt I`ll ever find that kit for a decent price. I`d totally get it if I could though.
The Grand Slam gets a lot of glory in Gunpla for appearing for one attack before BREAKING in Strike's Evolve short.
@Prime92 Gundamstoreandmore. duh, im pretty sure they ship to canada
Forget the freaking expensive battery, it looks fine without the lighting... ; )
A beautiful model and I totally get the batteries after spending a wet hundred dollars spending 10$ on tiny batteries make you feel like your going to go broke
I have a PG AEUG MK-II and a Wing Zero Custom. Thinking of buying myself a PG 00. I have no love for SEED series.
im quite upset that i lost the sticker sheet while assembling it. just like the usual case of little polycaps falling off the desk and simply disappear.
@TypeLP6704SV just thought you'd like to know that the red frame is less articulate in the legs
@Osijek50 No screws.
Me gusta, totally want this kit, time to work some overtime I guess.
:D
I just need this model! I have the skygrasper!
@Exsimonce many said that among perfect grades, there are 2 of them which totally damn good... they are Strike and Astray Red Frame... many said that the strike freedom is a failure...
hey prime for the batteries take a double A and cut it open and its full of them
@Akiraofthewind You say that, but Bandai has released a PG Unicorn gundam.
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH YOU BROKE HIS PINKIE WITH THE SWORD
strike rouge is my first perfect grade
i still havent build it yet but im working on it
im thinking of buying the striker weapon system soon to see if it fits it or not
also i think the PG zeta is more of a perfect grade seeing how impossible it is to build
Cant wait to get this kit at the end of the month. Cause im gonna buy the sky grasper so i can get the aile pack and the stand . FUCK YEA
1 of 2 perfect grades id think when i see PG, and buy... the other being Red Frame Astray :)
i just what having!!!! that cool!!! :D
If you though that was amazing wait till you see the GP01. You'll be mindblown.
i wonder what the hole on the big fat sword (that's what i call swords that are big and long) is for? i really do think that bandai made that for a weapon
or you could display it on a holder if you don't want it on the strike
as a sacred strike dagger i would call it
@Prime92 PG GP01 is totally worth the money!
this is mainly the reason why people are kinda disappointed when PG SF came out, what with the less articulate joints and less parts, and the overall MGish look
@Prime92 no it isn't
they are totally different
go check the review
mijo esta usted demasiado gangoso!
getting my striker pack 1/60 today
hopefully tonight i can build one of the packs and try it on my PG rouge
Still the best PG to date.
I thought the beam rifle went on the hip not the rear waist armor
Cloud ff7 ftw!!!
If you ever get the 1/60 Striker Weapon System kit, will you do an update showing off the Sword and Launcher Strikers with this kit?
I'm sure you would of said it in the review but I just would like to make sure. Does the kit have any screws?
@kidspartan11 Bandai has already confirmed that a PG unicorn isn't gonna be made
walk down the street with the dagga!
i am mowing my parents lawn so i can buy this perfect perfect grade
prime92... i am hoping to get some of these for the x-mas year. i have found a website called tatsu hobby. they have both ones i want. the strike and the red frame. should i get them? or not
prime are you considering on getting the pg skygrapser with the aile strike pack?
Quite a lot stickers eh? Try the strike freedom lol, it will blow your mind
wheey better than the exia in my opinion
I have 1 perfect grade, MKII titans colors, still have not started him.
I'm not fond of these newer perfect grades. They seem to be more simple, streamlined, almost more like a large master grade instead of a perfect grade. The older PG's are the way to go for me.
ive never seen the "grand slam" where in the anime do you see the grand slam
I like the Strike more than the Strike Freedom
@shinigami223 ehh idc, i dont fiddle with models, build em, display em, the end.
If you don't mind how long did you assemble the PG strike. thanks.
Yeah, assuming you like the gundam and it's design
i wonder if they will have a pg unicorn
one question, what do you call the batteries you use for that? and what size?
your voice is like michael jackson
Does the sword at the ending used in the show?
Oooyuuuuuuiii
Are the 1/60 the size of ROTF Optimus Prime or taller?
Does the eyes have LED LIGHT FEATURE?
What type of watch battery does the pg strike need
Ever thought about buying the PG Astray?
when will you review the destroy gundam ?
I wanna buy it!
So what's the hole in the grand slam for?
Prime, you have awesome Gundams, customized pieces, and great how to...you camera sucks though. i have a hard time listening to you because of the sound quality. again i love you videos, but spend allot of time scanning to the good parts or dropping the volume all the way down. not trying to be rude, I'm just trying to help you become a little more awesome.
Can PG Strike hold Grand Slam with its both hands?
im back and i can confirm NONE of the striker packs would fit
damn i was hoping it'll work T-T
Ehhhhh... I'm just not that impressed by the design of the Seed Gundams... It looks like a pretty cool model, and I do like the mechanisms... But I wish there were more PG Gundams from other series, since like 50% of the line is dominated by just Seed mobile suits.
05:48 dat arms...
Prime92 how much money did the kit cost
sounds like MJ just done his nose job hehehehe
5:26 strike is flipping you off
Grand Slam.... Gundam Evolve maybe?
Is this better than the pg astray
the 00 Raiser doesnt look perfect gradish than the Strike is,.
how,long you make that thing????
Funny how you say batteries are expensive when you pay 100+ for 1 Gundam xD
this is most likely a bootleg around $60 hence why the hand pegs don't fit well with the weapons.
The sticker sheet was official Bandai, not a bootleg, and Prime92 has always stated when it's a bootleg she's reviewing.
paint it!
Why does your voice sound like that
@ihateipodhaters lets fight with all our might :3 lol
i agree with you lol
No screws?LOL...
i'd like to think its muu......
Sooo big >;)
how hard is it to build a PG?
***** oh ok! i bet if PG unicorn would take more time than PG strike freedom?
+耀光梁 honestly, i dont think any kit is really difficult, so long as you fallow the dirrections. it's just a matter of time, however i've never built a pg so i dont know.
Some mistake u done with your video? its VERY distorded...
