- The municipality of Suldal is one of the most important locations for hydropower production in Norway, consisting of a range of smaller and larger hydropower plants and projects. The first power station was completed in 1916, Røldal Suldal Kraft was the biggest industrial project in Norway in the 1960s, Ulla Førre is the largest hydropower project in Northern Europe and the North Sea Link from Suldal connects Norway´s energy supply to the British one. In this series you can learn more about some of the largest hydro power projects in Suldal.
