They’re heavier than I thought. I just recently had a new batch of Bluejays come to my house. Four. One will eat from my hand. He flies over and lands, takes a peanut, and takes off. I love it. His friends will watch, and they’ll be trying so hard to work up the courage, but eventually they’ll jump down to my feet and just be like “nah just toss me one please, I’m too nervous”.
Obviously, their blue it's so pretty... But I always found very cute how black and shiny their little feetsies and legs are. It's like they are wearing tiny bird boots.
Wow !!! 😃😃❤❤ Totally awesome to see birds coming to eat from your hand. AWESOME !!! I'm jealous and wish it was me having the bird's trust in this lovely manner. ❤ Thanks for posting.👍👍
I have a bunch of ravens that I can hand feed by my home, they occasionally bring me shiny objects and rounded stones for feeding them nuts and fruits. I just call them "The boys" because I never can tell them apart 😂 Big guys too! They accidentally hurt me now and again so I try not to hand feed anymore
We have them in abundance in Ontario Canada but I have no idea how you get them to come to your hand….our Blue Jays stay far away….they are precautions…great video…
This was truly magnificent video of a beautiful bird! May you be blessed …by Saint Francis of Assisi who is the patron saint of animals, because of his strong and special connection to nature. You sir are clearly one of his disciples! You have that sense in you for kindness of the birds!
Why would you hate him? City of Miami is filled with haters from Hades or something. The Miami Hate. The Miami cHeat. I don’t know hater, love God and Jesus Christ. Love your country 🇺🇸 Be One with God your Creator and His nature and animals. Just be pure and innocent good country boy, and not a party city boy. And not hate blessed people, but have Love in your hearts. You know if you read the Bible in your backyard, they will come close to you I noticed. Like Jesus Christ, “Look at the birds of the air.” God Bless the USA 🇺🇸 I love my Christian Bible country, greatest country on earth. That’s beautiful man. Love ya. I had a Blue Jay come right up to me where I was sitting in the grass beside the pond, and I fed it bread by putting it on the ground. I just realized had I put it in my hand and extended it, I could have had a moment like this.
@@hunterjordan4327 I was being sarcastic. Of course I don't hate him. I am just jealous he could do that. Time for you to take a holiday somewhere faraway.
You can learn to do this. Process is: Introduction, Familiarization, Attraction, Contact. If you know the birds are in your yard, spend some time there. Get a tin box with a lid, fill it with unsalted peanuts, and put it where you sit. Start by tossing a peanut ten feet from you. Gradually make your tosses shorter over a period of a week, similar time of day, every day. Second week, have a table, peanut at far edge, then closer, then next to a flat hand, then off the hand on the table, then raise the hand 6 inches, then a foot. Watch the body language, avoid sudden moves, and do NOT move toward the bird, let him come to you. Cover the box when you are not there, and don’t leave peanuts to be found when you are not present. That trains them to wait for you to leave. Instead, train them to associate your presence with the treat. Have fun.

Love it. Especially the slow motion, it brings our worlds together time-frame wise.
I especially liked when the bird said "Yea-yeah!"

Impressive, beautiful. To experience the trust of any animal is great. To feel trust from wild animals, a lot greater. Great video.
*_The colors are so pretty._*
Úchvatné 💚 děkuji Vám 🤍
Beautiful Birdy ❤️
How did this not go viral? Brilliant filming.
What a beautiful bird!!! I didn't know there were such things... It's a bird of happiness!💕
It's a relative of crows and ravens. It will raid other bird's nests and eat nestlings. They will gang up on cats. Smart, but not sweet.
I was waiting for someone to joke about Mordecai from Regular Show
Wow !!! 😃😃❤❤

Blue Jays are so wonderful birds. I have never seen one in real life but I would like to do it.
