Great Recovery! Amazed that the trailer looked that good after getting it back on the towable location. Very impressed there was little to none profanity during all three videos. So real that I bumped my head trying to see under things. Almost like being right in there with all of you but without the dust, heat, and headache.
I really have always liked watching you & Darl working together as you guys make for a good team together! Thanks for sharing this one Trent & a really good job of editing & capturing a up close look at how the three of you work so well as a team! Take care & stay safe out there & as always looking forward to your next one!
You and Darl worked better as a team then you have in any of the other videos, you 2 must be learning each others quirks. Good team work saves money and lives.
Just found this 3 part series. Great videos. The 3 of you sure make a great team. The whole time I was watching I wondered why the heck didn't you use the rotater then it dawned on me, you probably didn't have it yet. I'll bet it would have made this job a whole lot easier. Job well done!
Fun to watch. The tire sling is good for pulling the tire to you. So for the bottom tire you put the tire sling in from the back of the rim so both ends are out the outside of rim and at front of tire closet to you. When you pull it will turn the tire and aim it right at your pull and you can pull from it if you need on those stupid vulvas.
Best ingenuity, common sense and initiative award goes to.....Daryl!...Stick to your guns Trent otherwise you would be using Daryl's!, didn't realize it took so much effort to recover a overturned truck.
They have to cut the video if he lets go, kidding no idea. But he seemed to be watching Darl and little Trent working to see how they do together, that is hard to do when you have the years of experience, letting others learn the hard way. That makes the team stronger though and he can sleep better at night knowing they can do it.
Great video Trent, most people probably didn’t know what it takes on a big rig accident. Really enjoyed all the different aspect of what equip. It takes. You guys worked real well together, but next time don’t say we haven’t had an roll over in a while. Thanks for letting us follow along with you, be safe out there
Great job guys. its always great to see a good company that knows how to work together. I grew up around the tow business myself unfortunately my dad never made it to the point of owning or running a company for me to get into it as deep as Young Trent here has. Just wondering though what model is the Pete that Darl drives, I can tell its a Jerr-Dan body, I'm figuring its also a 35-Ton like Trent's Century 35-Ton Pete 389.
Great series! Before you asked about the drive shaft having been secured, I had wondered the same thing. Perhaps for future dual(multi) cam vids: Edit in a small text label somewhere that identifies who's cam is the active or viewpoint cam. Only way I could tell was when either of you were looking at the other. lol
The brakes aren't holding? Why do I seem to remember some one on day 1 saying whilst waiting to unload they had disconnected the drive shaft and locked out the brakes?
Just have a question. Not criticizing great job. When you were winching up the hill why not attach the rope strap through the drivers tire and then extend that with a continuous loop. You would probably have the tractor come around a lot easier. It would pull and lift same time. Just asking
Forgot to mention this earlier but the line of orange safety cones , were they placed near that drop off / ledge so you guys wouldnt drive over the ledge or ??
Another adictive video - twin cameras is definitely an advantage. What is it with US Volvos? In Europe Volvo is a prestigious make of truck (along with Scania, Mercedes, etc) but the ones that you deal with seem to more of a "budget" model. Is this a case of trans-Atlantic badge engineering?
Hi Guy's Johnny From Hawkes-bay New-Zealand so aw-some to watch you Guy's in Action and the video footage soooooo? CLEAR what are the helmet Video Cam"s you Guy's using where can i Buy some they are way better than what we have in New-Zealand hey Guy's Keep Trucken
Hard to say. one of our trucks has all snap on tools and one has harbor freight. Both do just fine. Id say in the 500 dollar range for harbor freight maybe less. Thanks for watching!
@@plazatowing For chains and the works it has to be a lot of money. I keep my chains in oil so they do not rust and you have a couple hundred chain sets between all of your trucks and toss them around. I am cheap though and you are working for a living do this.
Here's a truck that got down in the Median.. There was some damage to the Truck and Trailer.. However, before the Truck and Trailer got back on the road the Truck and Trailer may very well been hauled off to the scrap yard.. I know when this happens there could be much "Hidden Damage" However, if I was the truck owner I'd be there and take Photos of the Truck an Trailer before any Salvage got done on the Truck and Trailer.. Insurance Claims are gonna demand this in the near future..
Still haven't figured out why the driver would've driven that truck down in that hole. What was the point? That driver cost that company a lot of money. Wouldn't be driving for me again that's for sure.
Until they get damaged, then no one ever wants to fix them. You can get VOX headset radios cheap but the radio part gets in the way and ends up getting busted when you work.
You guys where supplying air then releasing trl brakes with the trk why not just release the trl with the wrecker directly instead of installing the valve adapter I know when i drove i was looking into a bumper so i could attatch better fog lights on my volvo but being a company driver if they switched me from a volvo i didnt want to loose the expense i figured i could make a harness that plugged into the cigarette plug and run it out the door and zip tie if i would have built it i would have done solid steel 2 1/2 x1 1/2 milled down to fit into the pull pin holes with 1 or 1 1/2 shackles or what ever size you guys use then 2 x 2 quarter wall tube to connect the two sides then build the rest from 1 x 1 quarter wall but before actually doing i wouldve verified so if any thing happened it could be used for towing and i would double check with the company so they couldnt whine when in the shop cause no truck modifications would have been done
Dude... wth? So like 1 scene (2 days) and you have 2 people just mosey up and ask for a jack? I mean, I know the cop ended using his own jack but whats up with that random dude who happens to show up needing a jack? Is that normal? I personally don't understand because I'm a guy who was taught at a very young age to have proper tools in your car. But still.... bizarre..
So fascinating to watch. I am amazed at how many people won't/don't get over when they can and give you guys a little more space.
Proper job , no headless chickens no screaming or shouting just a good professional job enjoy the three episodes and both cameras 👍🚛

Trent ,
This video series of this Roll over recovery is possibly the best video you've ever done !!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the series.. I enjoyed watching all 3 parts.. 2 camera's is a great idea.
Thanks for watching!

Those were great videos - a lot of work at the site and a lot of work putting the video together. Thanks for both.
I was tensed up just watching, great job.
Thanks for watching!
As was I! Tense the whole time. 😒
Keep me watching and learning what you and the crew do! Exciting!!!!
Wow recovery completed with good use of equipment and people. Thanks for sharing the videos Trent.
Thanks for watching!
Best ingenuity, common sense and initiative award goes to.....Daryl!...Stick to your guns Trent otherwise you would be using Daryl's!, didn't realize it took so much effort to recover a overturned truck.
Great work! Your pops seems like a great guy to work for....real low key, but I'm sure everyone knows when he means business.

Great videos guys, I like the two cameras and it's nice to see the old man smiling. More long videos guys and Thanks.

Thanks for watching!
WOW at all the trash in that truck . Awesome Job Guys.
All three parts were Awesome!

Thanks agian Trent, and no fighting You 2 lol you guys are Awsome
Thanks for watching!
A job well done. Thank you.
Brilliant idea to pick the front. With the telehandler
great trilogy of films with two camera`s well done
Thanks for watching!
Nice job with the editing on this one, I like the multiple camera angles.
Sir Trent, I am subscribed to over 80 channels, and I find myself watching your videos first over anybody else's!! :-)
That was great, I really liked the two cameras and as always I enjoyed the Sh&$ out our the videos, thanks Trent & company!
In California don’t you have to use filtered and purified air to the brakes?
Great job guys. its always great to see a good company that knows how to work together. Awesome camera views
Got power steering!! Takes all the power you got to steer!!
PERFECTLY EXECUTED GOOD TEAM WORK+++++++++++++++++++
Loving the vids man.👍👍👍👍
Cool series!
Bet your glad it was not snowing..! I think you might have left that oval steel ring you used to latch the two end straps back near the skids.!
Good job fellas
The brakes aren't holding? Why do I seem to remember some one on day 1 saying whilst waiting to unload they had disconnected the drive shaft and locked out the brakes?
Subscribed . Great vids 👍
Bless you you guys r doing a great job what t r u doing please be safe love u

Second time on this job someone asked for a jack.
i like part 3 even thow i diidnt see all three but the driver of the wrick truck would be fired if he drove my truck that way on the road Lol.
Forgot to mention this earlier but the line of orange safety cones , were they placed near that drop off / ledge so you guys wouldnt drive over the ledge or ??
Great job as always Trent! Awesome watching you guys work, thanks for the videos! 👍
P.S. Can you give us a location so I can find it on google maps?
I'd hate to be near one of cables if it would snap. How often are those replaced?
If they are not rusty or individual strands breaking you would be hard pressed to spend the money for new cables.
Was this in the Cajon pass?
How many total, unedited hours of footage is there over all three video's?
Great videos ! 1:01:47 I HATE VOLVOS :D :D :D
It’s that where I-10 and I-86 are.?
Does the passing traffic ever make you nervous?
Did he do a pre trip?
Did they make you take the bus rollover video down? And what happened to all the burr tech videos? :/
So if i may ask? What does a recovery like this cost. I like the video's kerp em coming.
Would 2-way radios help in your teams communication?
They used cell phones and they do use radios but radios get busted up when you are climbing around things like that.
Ride em cowboy Darrow.
Maybe I missed it but I didn't see you tighten up the binding chains on the axel ! ?
The slight amount of tilt that I put into it tightens up the chains:) Thanks for watching!
Plaza Towing Thank you for the reply Trent and keep up the good work in school and towing. I wish you the best in all you do !
35:50 what’s is going on with those two cars in the left lane?!
John DiGiorno I was thinking the same
What do you mean?
Where I live, you are subject to a "MOVING VIOLATION" if you don't Free Up and Reduce Speed in the adjacent lane for any type of Highway work..
I'm lost on this
3 cars actually. for those asking, what do you mean, THE LEFT LANE ON A 2 LANE ROAD IS FOR PASSING FUCK HEADS. MOVE OVER.
dying to know what a tow procedure like this would cost
Jeff Klinger easily a couple Grand
Same. Probably a lot
Cant say but use your imagination lol. Thanks for watching!
500 for a money pit tug, hes said 800 on other quick tows so I guess your looking at few grand easy.
Five figures

So when Darl calls out for Trent and both of you are there, how do you know which Trent he is looking for?
true lol. Thanks for watching!
Aaron Mussulman haha this is what i was gon comment about hahaha
Call him young Trent, or Jr. or Hey You or something!
Good team wack boys👍
What happened to all the sausage ?
Did you donate it to the volunteers?
What happened to your next video?
So was the cost of this in thousands or tens of thousands?
Hourly rates set in the state of Calif by CHP.
I would say it is way over the $400 minimum they charge!!! Sad thing is it will go to insurance and Big Trent will be fighting for every dollar.
Thoughts on wheel lifts?
Hate them! But definitely a necessary evil.
Trent your REAR RIGHT SIDE turn signal is not working
I had the left turn signal on the whole time lol. Thanks for watching!
I thought you guys caged the trailer brakes, so taking the air off the caged springs would accomplish nothing, right?
Nice Vid keep it up, I like it ^^
Thanks for watching!
About how much does it cost to 'tool up' a big towing rig?
Hard to say. one of our trucks has all snap on tools and one has harbor freight. Both do just fine. Id say in the 500 dollar range for harbor freight maybe less. Thanks for watching!

Anyone ever know what happened to the driver (of the volvo)? I mean after he got fired! 😱😕
Still haven't figured out why the driver would've driven that truck down in that hole. What was the point? That driver cost that company a lot of money. Wouldn't be driving for me again that's for sure.
i dont see how that guy ended up in the middle. going up a steep hill, grossing at least 76000, and most likely in the right lane.
You guys need headsets to communicate with each other.
agreed!
Until they get damaged, then no one ever wants to fix them. You can get VOX headset radios cheap but the radio part gets in the way and ends up getting busted when you work.

I know when i drove i was looking into a bumper so i could attatch better fog lights on my volvo but being a company driver if they switched me from a volvo i didnt want to loose the expense i figured i could make a harness that plugged into the cigarette plug and run it out the door and zip tie if i would have built it i would have done solid steel 2 1/2 x1 1/2 milled down to fit into the pull pin holes with 1 or 1 1/2 shackles or what ever size you guys use then 2 x 2 quarter wall tube to connect the two sides then build the rest from 1 x 1 quarter wall but before actually doing i wouldve verified so if any thing happened it could be used for towing and i would double check with the company so they couldnt whine when in the shop cause no truck modifications would have been done

Wooow
What happened to Captions? The first two videos had captions!
Shouldn't you be doing homework? ;)
probably lol. Thanks for watching!
good job. No rattlesnakes or scorpions were injured in this recovery.
