What I intended to say is that some routers may have a guest function; however, client isolation cannot be disabled. In that situation, an IOT device that needs some level of P2P interaction to function, won't do so on the guest net. Nearly everyone glosses over that.

Yeah, well...if IOT devices need to communicate with each other, or with a hub, then they won't work if run on a segmented guest network. What then?
