Excellent content! I would argue though, that, regarding Rule 18, between a vessel CBD and a vessel RAM, none have right of way and therefore we can't specify an order between those two.
The reason that CBD vessel gives way to RAM is that within deep water the CBD vessel can manoeuvre with ease, whereas the RAM can’t, and the rule is clear on CBD giving way to RAM.
@@enriqueniemannconcha7267 Ah… it still is, because the NUC vessel cannot manoeuvre at all… although NUC implies no captain, it is actually used when a vessel has lost the ability to manoeuvre, e.g. engine or steering failure, whereas RAM and CBD can both manoeuvre.
@@theboatcheat1204 Right, but also RAM “is therefore unable to keep out of the way of another vessel”. The pecking order between RAM and NUC is not clearly stated, and, as far as I know, they are required to observe good seamanship under Rule 2(a).
@@enriqueniemannconcha7267 I see your point, but it is clearly stated. The NUC cannot manoeuvre at all, whereas the RAM can manoeuvre with difficulty, and the regs clearly place NUC as right of way over RAM.

I'm sorry, I made a mistake. What I don't believe that is specified is the right of way between a RAM and a NUC vessel. @@theboatcheat1204
