When high waist mom jeans were trending and everyone was bashing low rise it sucked because high waist is not inclusive for everyone either. Its uncomfortable and painful for some bellies its not ideal for certain heights and if yiu have bigger bussoms it can make them look low and give grandma shape. Im glad everyone wearing whatever they like now

I'm a GenZ also 17 and the style your sister likes at least where I'm from is pretty basic right now y2k fashion is huge here low waisted bedazzled butt jeans and little tops with funky jewelry is really in and definitely no skinny pants......lots of alternative styles as well. :D

I really feel like the reason I can't what's in style now is because it's like high school and I'm a different person now, clothes and all. And going back just to keep up with a trend is like someone who's 19 now being given the option to dress as they did when they were 6. But gotta meet in the middle so I don't end up like ppl with 80s hair when I was a teen.
