You can live anywhere in Berkeley county and transfer to whatever school you want. They do it all the time for football. The only thing is you will have to drive or get dropped off if you transfer to a school out of your zone.
I love the people, the diversity, the combination of people who have been here for generations, and the new comers. somehow we have all found a way to cone together and have an old fashioned sense of community
@@rjanis123 I love that too! It's really special and not something you find everywhere. Where are some of your favorite places to in the area? Eating out, recreation, etc?
I live in south berkeley, so I'm lucky enough to have some of the best restaurants in the county here. I really enjoy supporting local restaurants.. Cider Press is incredible! we have two excellent Mexican restaurants... and The Dining Room is phenomenal... and anywhere in the panhandle, if you see the name Kings, you know it's going to be great food!
@@rjanis123 thanks for the recommendations! We love Finn Thai and the Garage . . . and Habenoro of course! We went there in our Discover Martinsburg video here: ruclips.net/video/dufnKXrwBZU/видео.html
Winchester can’t possibly be a better commuting experience because driving 3 hours is the ONLY option. It’s also funny you had a condition of being able to work while commuting as a condition for riding MARC. You can’t do that while driving. In addition many people sleep on the way in, impossible while driving (if you don’t want to die). That you have to drive to get anywhere in the county is condemnable. If you are a cyclist, the drivers around here actively try to kill you. I have learned the value of a human life here is less than $1.25.
I LIVE HERE IN WEST VIRGINIA AND ITS BEEN A LIVING HELL EVER SINCE I MOVED HERE WITH ,,NO GOOD PAYING JOBS ,, YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL A LONG WAY JUST TO DO ANY BUSINESS,,, THE MEDICAL PROFESSION IS AWFUL AND MEEN TO THERE PATIENTS,,, PEOPLE HERE ARE JUST RUD AND THE LIST IS ENDLESS 😮😮😮,,,
@jamesharmon2207, thank you for your comment. I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time in the Eastern Panhandle. Are there any things you like about the area?
