Number 8 by Richardson was one of the hardest dunks to do in the word. Off the backboard and still have hang time to go between the legs. Top 3 no doubt, I mean clearly the free throw is overrated since like 10 players can do it easily already.
His dunks that year are criminally underrated.. smooth and powerful
Yes so many people did and can do that dunk (Brent Barry, even Pippen did it) but between the legs like J Rich absolutely not.

I think obviously just about any one of Aaron Gordon (from 2016), Zach Lavine and VCs dunks could be on here, but Jason Richardson is definitely the most underrated dunk contest contestant. He had several just ridiculous dunks.

Aron Gordon dunk was the best i ever seen ya better put some respect on it. He is number 1 that under the leg dunk is by far the best of all time vs the other ones. ESPN u don't know this stuff.

Some dunks should indeed be here, but they are in the wrong order. And some dunks shouldn't be here at all, I feel like there are some dunks missing.
The biggest merit of the list though is to include Dr. J, Wilkins, Webb, Jordan, Carter, Gordon and LaVine. They have ground breaking dunks and MADE the history of the competition. The are among the very best dunkers of all time for sure.
Also, I'm not so sure if they selected necessarily the best dunks from these 7 dudes, but they are probably their most iconic dunks.

Dominique Wilkins dunk at #5 over Jason Richardson's at #8. 😅😅😅. #8 could easily be #1 if creativity, degree of difficulty and airtime is considered.
Fred Jones from the pacers had a dunk that should be top 5. If Jordan or Kobe did that it would be clear #1 all time. Also, Jason Richardson's off the glass between the legs is better that Jordan and Carter's winning dunks.

the free throw line dunks are probably two of the most iconic and influential dunks in history, especially jordans for essentially creating the "air jordan" moniker. that's why they made the list
