Love it Bro!!!! I used it o live there for a year and a half when I was in the army. Nice vid of the area and of course there’s a lot more vistas as well but not enough time to cover it all. I really enjoyed it
Hi Luis, my name is Larry Eison and I have been following you on RUclips for a while now. I'm live in Jacksonville, FL and my wife is also from Panama, where we have a home in Penonome Coclé, Panama. Where I ride also. The ride you did in Panama is this a ride that they do once a year. I'm with Major Taylor Cycling Club North Florida and we have been talking about doing a ride in Panama for 2 years now and just have not because of it being outside of the U.S. any information you can give about this ride, or others ride in Panama. Let me know we would live to make that trip to PTY.
Hi Larry! Thanks for supporting the channel. This is an annual event. GF_PANAMA.COM And their is also the Gran Fondo Cycling Channel who do 3 events in Panama. My contact is in the description. Please send me an email
@luisscott I'm planning to visit Panama City in a few weeks. Just realized this is where you're from originally, but did not rent a car while you were there for the Gran Fondo. I'll be in the city for the entire stay (6 days) and wondered if I should rent a vehicle or just use Uber or taxi! Your guidance would be appreciated. Look forward to hearing from you.
You are going to love it! Welp. I did rent a car but only to travel away from the city. The rest I just used a taxi because they are super cheap and traffic really is quiet bad. The new infrastructure, with the on and off ramps to the motorways are also awkwardly laid out... so bare that in mind. Hope that helps.
@mountainsurfer3930 since we stayed in the city. We took a transport from airport to hotel. It cost us $40 with 3 people our luggage and two bike bags... could've gotten it for $30. In most instances, the taxi around the city is going to be $3 to $7. On day three we rented a car from a Budget, across from our hotel and dropped it off at the airport while flying out.
Leaving the bike like that in the open is a big no with me. If it rains during the night then you wake up to a chain with no wax and corroded rotors.....
What a beautiful area. It looks like the 3 of you had a really nice time. My wife is from Puerto Rico so I was familiar with much of the food. Yummy.
An honor and a privilege to travel with Mr and Mrs The Good Cyclist 🎉🎉🎉
