Fame played like they usually do , very well . The are the best in the EU but NA clearly had an individual higher skill player per player . Daki as always held is own but it ended there .

Last time I saw someone asking that question, some of them said they would do it for a minimum of 5000€ per person, because of all the time they would need to spend getting back in shape. Alot has probably happened in their lives the past years.

EU region was the first region to have a healthy competitive scene. The playerpool was a lot larger back a couple years and great players were spread over many clans.
More and more people got bored of competitive play after winning for years, many players quit and most of the ones that wanted to continue to play at a high level ended up joining just a few left over clans (such as FAME).
It was only a matter of time before other regions caught up.
The playerpool is pretty much the same. Peeking at over 200K online during christmas.
@Whats in a name But it does because I am talking about stagnation of skill and teamplay. EU has nothing left to really fight for, NA and other regions have got something to fight for; winning (so called) major tournaments.
Don't think I have to come up with a bunch of different research papers on what "having something to fight for" and "wanting to achieve something" does for a human. So it was only a matter of time before another region was reach for the stars (so to say).
Which btw is best for all regions, now the EU region has something to fight for again.

I used to play competitive CW up until 2017. The truth is that WG killed CWs in EU by capping the amount of gold and reducing rewards, which removed any incentive to attack afte ryou got 5 regions.
They also badly fucked up Ranked and never listened to the community, that's why I would say 70% of CW players left
I got tired by watching this, I cannot imagine playing it.

NA is has the top of the line players while also having some of the worst brain dead boomers - matchmaking decides to only put one type of those players on each team (all boomers or all pros - no mixed teams lol)

Im sure ur in charge of a top clan....This is what high level team play looks like. Its not about the radio silence with only 1 caller speaking that wins games. So much info is passed around that is beneficial to other players and the FC

Easy to be an armchair quarter back after the fact but my first impression would be there are way to many voices trying to give orders and arguing with each other instead of going with the plan. :)
NA's comms are much more cluttered than this my friend.
More voices = more info. You just learn to parse the information.
@@ElevendyWOT... No problem with info, the more you have the better for the FC to make decisions from but when you have players arguing about they want to do instead of doing what are told it is extremely counter productive.
@@chucklesx Well these guys aren't stupid. They should ultimately understand roughly what the caller wants to do, what is more important is they communicate amongst themselves. They will listen to the caller when the time is needed.
Agree. The OG fame had 2 voices at most. I watched many hours of FAME games and this is the first time I recall so much mayhem and voices. EDIT Meaning calls. All the other voices were usually just horsing around and having fun.
You go through stages. At the beginning, you need one voice. As you get better as a team, more information is more gooder. The more information players provide, the less the caller has to notice everything. You also get the situations where the players are letting callers know they can call a push, or that they think they have an overmatch. At least on NA, the more voices that are participating, the better the game goes. I always get nervous when no one is talking. Means they either aren't paying attention, or think we've already lost.

there's only a couple fc in a team, but a lot of communication, it seems that no one i this comment section understands that a lot of talking is not just nonsense, but actually meaningful information that can help cause a win, but overall a couple people make the call
I watched the whole thing and still don't know who the fuck was in charge of FAME's team? Seemed like they had 15 callers talking over each other the entire series. And the tension, damn man, seems like they all were pissed of at each other. I would love to see what the comms was like on the other team just for comparison.

This event has no reward tanks allowed, so it basically reverts back to old meta with some slight changes in tanks and guns

this is the difference between competitive clans and low elo clans, the better clans have multiple people talking and giving info and suggestions but at the end of the day 1-2 people have the final say as they are the field commander

Everyone saying too many callers. Nah dude that wasn't the issue. Yall ever played in High Elo games? It's always shouting through each other. It was Insane calling, Daki suggesting sometimes taking over. The rest is positioning, focus fire and calls where which tanks is. That's normal on that level

The teams weren't representing a clan, but instead a team. Its really just a bunch of different top NA players from different clans. Actually its a quite even distribution of players from different clans on the NA team.

When people mentioned this in Dakis chat the answer was "lol u dont know clan comms" and "lol its the winning comms". Maybe, just maybe thats screaming on top of eachother with confusing calls isnt the winning comms?
none of you in this comment section have actually played high-level comp, this is quite normal for comp, i promise you the reason na won is because they had better communication, which is essentially what this is

@@amzarnacht6710 This is literally what high level comp sounds like. You've probably never played high level comp to know what it sounds like. Comms are not coordinated, but it works. Its because high level comp is about reacting as fast as possible and making the right moves. Its not about playing slowly. The NA comms weren't really any better tbh. So taking 15 of the best players who are highly opinionated YEAH there will be talking over each other. Its really just them giving suggestions and them the caller taking those suggestions and deciding on what to do.

You do know that high-comp communication is not mindless chatter, but is strategizing and conveying information to each other right? High-comp communication is full of, and I mean literally full of, constant chatter

NOPE ! NA when 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 ,they outplayed by individual skill base . A good call always helps and these calls beat the REST OF EU , though !

people complaining about some players not communicating enough. its because you have 5 people CONSTANTLY talking. if you repeat EVERYTHING x5, with 5 people talking. you have 25 words per second. this is not the most effective way a team can communicate. learn to say things once. maybe 2. then have room for new information.

I watched it and why you lost? In my opinion you were not focused in 100%, you played too much chilled (its good and not of course) and because of that there were a lot individual mistakes. But good to see NA guys played good and played with IS7s and 277s. IS7 old meta :) classic play by them.
its like many of your teamm8s try to copy you. you repeat everything 3 to 5 times. and all other players in oyur team copy that. imagine the amount of information lost by talking so much
