The Stray Cats are perfect. Their music is by far the best I've ever heard. I'll put them on whenever I'm taking my '68 Mustang downtown. They could be big again, if they were promoted correctly.
I love Brian's voice here -- it's so deep and rich. He could easily have become a jazz crooner to match Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin if he had gone down that road.

There was such a buzz with myself and my rockabilly friends in 1989 cos Stray Cats were back with a vengeance. Great memories of this track I have the original album released at the time and the 12" single release of" I fought the law". Great tracks by a brilliant band.

The Upright bass or Double bass is an orchestra instrument invented hundreds of years ago, it's used in everything from Classical to Rockabilly, and is a complete different instrument from the bass guitar, however the bass guitar is based off of the double bass and was invented in the 1950's.
