im 46 years old and ill never have a christmas like this again. Everyone is dead. All the grand parents my mom my aunts my uncles. All of them are dead. Id give anything to go back to the 80s 90s and just not take all those times for granted. My dad said something to me once when I was young. He said this will not always be. Man was he right. Time comes and goes and the people you love will not always be there. So never take time with your family for granted. It could be the last time you see them.
I used to do Christmas eve at my dads side of the family and Christmas Day at home, and the day after at my moms side of the family. My dad and his side are all gone except 1 aunt and her son, who don’t talk with us anymore. Growing up it was magical, they always had food and gifts and the adults would drink booze and be rowdy and smoke cigs which my mom always complained about 😂. On my mom’s side, her parents are both gone now and all the cousin families who live out of town no longer visit. This all started stopping around 1999. 😔
yes and the birth of The internet with windows 94 driving our computer experience straight into the hell that you now know as modern times. The internet killed everything including social interactions.@@booberfeldt5566
I really miss big family holidays like this together. Now so many of them are gone or went separate ways and the last couple years the family get togethers have gotten smaller and smaller.
ya isnt it crazy. Took for granted that families got together like this. Now I notice im the last remaining guy to get together with. Everyone else is dead now and im not making any new members. Just me and my son thats all thats left.
As a kid when family cared a little bit, they always had some giant JVC possibly in my face but when i am much older the family doesn't want me recording, so i don't have these kinds of memories. 🚬 Enjoy 2024.

When families were families, spending time together in Christmas eve and day.
The kids knew how to have fun even on Christmas! The older boy who was dancing and jumping on the couch was cute and funny!
