James Bond 007 Moonraker Soundtrack Collection ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Modified soundtrack by Radim Šebesta (2019)
Bond going into space is often the reason this film is called silly but I’d say as soon as those rockets launch this film is actually quite beautiful and a far more sensible part of the film than any of the Earth based stuff. In Space no one can see a pigeon double take.
The space scenes are indeed beautiful and I’d argue it’s more grounded than some other things in the film. I quite like Moonraker and find it to be one of the most fun to view
Something else- MOONRAKER was probably the first film to show that in space, things don't explode in flames- there were just pressure releases from Drax's collapsing Orbiter, which I think shows how much detail the Bond directors put into their work...
@@q.h.s5051 It's a ridiculous film, yes, but- it's also incredibly entertaining. I dont really care about how "logical" the Bond movies of Roger's are; in MOONRAKER, you get an endless series of locations, exotic, beautifully arranged and shot, and a villain who wants to WIPE OUT THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE!!
This is John Barry at some of his best. Overall, this is a rather ridiculous James Bond film, but it is hard to beat John Barry's music for adding drama, menace, and awe.
The way things are going, this movie makes 100% sense. By the way, Elon Musk has 44 satellites circling the earth. You don't know what the billionaires have planned out for humanity.
Moonraker is the best 007 movie as far as I’m concerned, because of how high the stakes are. This is one of the few movies in which Bond truly saves the world (in the most literal sense in this case).

Billionaire I'm to space fact these days bond first lol
Moonraker was only made to cash in on the rise of science fiction considering Moonraker came out in 1979 two years after Star Wars

Absolutely, it is some of the very best, to that even, some of the best film music of the 20th century.
this rather ...ridiculous film is at my top best . i enjoyed it .

Correctly.
It is a divisive Bond film, it's like a bubble-bath night at a club. Silly as hell, but just jump in, and get amongst it. Don't fight it, feel it! 😺👍
Couldn’t have put it better myself. Soak up the fun, don’t act so glum. It is what it is, and for what it is, it’s a remarkably well made film.
Roger was fun as bond
WOW, the best part of this theme is at 1:40!
Barry's best piece?
007 and Counting
@@q.h.s5051 YESS!!
Love that track
Roger Moore's second best after Spy Who Loved Me.
Plutôt le 3ème meilleur je dirais.
How right you are!
Other some comedic moments I thought the film was really good.
1:45 down
Elon Musk love this song
