I went on the tour on Jan. 1st or 2nd this year. It was awesome. My favorite part of it was King Kong 360 - 3D. I was so amazed how they did it. Also with water spraying at you and the tram on a simulator moving you.
The last time I took that tour I was about 17 and the Hill Valley set was dressed for the 'Future Hill Valley" and I won a contest on the tram and was able to be an extra the next day on that set. It was awesome!
The tram lot tour is my favorite attraction at Universal Studios. A visit to the park would not be complete without it. I never had the chance to experience Kong 4D, but I do remember the old Kong when he was still there. Also, the tram no longer goes over the collapsing bridge? That's messed up.

i have the annual pass for Universal Studios and the tram tours never get old :)
The King Kong was SO AMAZING!!!, That was my favorite part Also.

I remember i went in 2011, and it was still included in the tour.
I've taken this backlot tour more than 20 times in my life & have never been surrounded by a more obnoxious group than this one.

Backlot was in two parts. The second part has Jaws and Norm. Thjs was the 1st part
