5:12 This is ABS-CBN. You're on Channel 2, DWWX-TV in metro Manila. The Star Network. 8:36 The best becomes bigger and better with the giant Rainbow Satellite. @@DTVDragonsTelevisionRevised This administration has definitely invested heavily on propaganda. However, the channel is still pretty much the same - news and opinions from the perspective of the government + dull and cheap old foreign programming (There was one time I was channel surfing and I came across a program about Japanese intercity transit, which of course has no relevance to this country whatsoever. Wtf?) + infomercials taking up a huge portion of the daytime schedule, and somehow Martin Andanar believed that a channel like that could make to one of the Top 5 in audience shares in the country
I assume the network's budget didn't encompass fixing any mistakes that could have emerged during editing :D The longer it went, the cheaper it looked, frankly
Imagine this... You are walking alone in your house at maybe 2 or 3 AM. Maybe to go to the bathroom or getting a drink of water. You look at the living room and the TV is turned on. "That's strange," you say to yourself, "The TV is not plugged in." You go in the living room and check the plug. Your assumptions are correct, the TV is not plugged in. You go back, and as you are in front of the TV, 1:27 plays. The doors leading to the living room closes. You try to open one but they are locked. Suddenly, the floor disappears, and you fall. Luckily you were uninjured on that fall, but you are trapped in a room with a bunch of old TV's playing the same thing, over and over and over again. You feel the TV's getting closer to you. As they get closer, the music becomes louder and more distorted, and the background of the logo become redder and redder You close your eyes... Finally, you wake up in your bed. "Luckily, it was just a dream." You say to yourself, as you walk out of the bedroom. As you go to your living room, ready to meet your family which is in the living room as well. They are watching news in the TV.

That ABS CBN ident from 2014 is my favorite, as well as the IBC ident from 1980 and the 1982 ident from City2.
City2 (Banahaw Broadcasting) was the dark phase of ABSCBN as it was managed by a Marcos crony from 1972 until 1986.
