This really reminds me of your older Painter videos. I really like those, I wouldnt mind see you do a Let's Play of this. I love your art ! And, well, your commentary to it.
"Hey everyone, we need money, so what do we do?"

"That's a start. But what game? An entry into a series? New IP? Something that's not too risky, and will sell."

"Doesn't the DS already do that, without the need for a console?"

I totally lost it when you started singing "I'm a little teapot." My girlfriend looked at me like I needed to be institutionalized. That, sir, is the finest teapot I have ever seen.

Being someone who plays at Street Fighter tournaments quite often, I think it would be quite entertaining to see you show up using the uDraw to stomp scrubs, Northernlion. Chuck those fireballs!
Ryan! I may not be speaking only for myself when i say, do a Let's Play with uDraw, going trough practices like the pot because this made my day. Seriously it was hilarious :)

Best Buy is an American electronics/appliance chain (which I have a burning hatred for, for a variety of reasons). Fry's is a similar chain, but appears to be on the west coast of the country only (mostly in California, if I recall correctly).

Turns out that triceratops and stegosaurus are one and the same. The latter is the former in infant form. Facts, love em!

To think that this tablet killed the industry veteran that was THQ. It brings to mind how Zeus defeated Chronos or how the Visigoths ran Rome to the ground.
Oh god the tea pot. Reminds me of that minigame in Mario Party 1 where you have to trace around a character with a jackhammer and the computer players would just kind of swerve around all over the place.

Or maybe because Ryan is left handed and the uDraw is designed specifically for right handed users. I have experience with that problem. The uDraw's pen is thethered the the right side and you need to press a button to activate the drawing effect. Professional tablets have neither problem.
Oh my god. I kept forgetting just how bad NLs teapot was when Remmy was showing us the next step. Then Remmy's picture would shrink out and I'd see NLs piece of s**t again. Almost died laughing.

Not on topic of the video,but for some reason my Firefox has been taking words out of random sentences and turning them into ads,even on websites where it wouldn't make sense.ON topic of the video...amazing :D
The reason for the re-upload , scumbag audio set up messed up so the audio was overpowering Ryan's smooth velvety tones so this has been re-balanced.

If I owned an Xbox I'd definitely like to give it a try, I remember owning some sort of stand-alone Art-on-TV hardware when I was a kid and adore my tablet (even if it is like 15 years old at this point and dying a horrid death). I wonder if NL's got any experience with computer tablets and if not, how much of his comfort/discomfort would translate to the similar setup of a wacom or whatever.

Honestly, if he didn't add the pen line in and kept it as it is, some art museum would have considered it "Modern Art" or whatever.

The UDraw does looks like a regular drawing tablet.
I was hoping you'd edit in that picture of the uDraw.
Tablets are great for digital artists (all of the Trikicats in my thumbnails are tablet-drawn), but if that thing has as much latency as you're describing, not even decent artists would be able to use that thing.
Most drawing tablets don't have screens, that's just how they're designed.

The hedge picture looks more like Chub from Isaac's perspective to me.
It's a long story, but one of the big reasons: I preordered a game through their website. About four months before release they tried to charge my CC, which failed (I'd just gotten it replaced). They sent me an email saying to fix my info or they'd cancel and an email saying they'd canceled within an hour of each other. I spent the next three months arguing with CS trying to get my preorder back and make sure it never happened to anyone else, but neither goal was successful :\

If something weird happens to uDraws (that stock suddenly disappears and\or they are found to be unreliable and there's a low supply of them) and they're suddenly in high demand and low-ish supply they could probably become of value again, but otherwise, pretty much this.
You should do an LP with Kate on this... I believe it would be hilarious for 20-30 mins.

No.. no, I was being dumb as heck. I meant triceratops and torosaurus... not sure why I made that mistake... kinda awful.
To be fair to THQ, most professional tablets work pretty much in the same way as the uDraw --- i.e. they don't show anything on the tablet itself. Look up some of the Wacom tablets.
