I still listen to your Kaytranada song on a frequent basis. He’s one of my favorite musicians of all time, and you did a damn good job representing his style
Loved that people are showing appreciation to Dodger Blue. As a hispanic (a guest in the rap genre) I didnt really understand why so many other guests were trying to undermine dodger blue. That intro hits so diff and its short, sweet, and everything in between
I’m one of the few people who really didn’t like chromakopia. Like there are a handful of songs I really liked but I just didn’t like the production very much. Usually I love the sound of Tyler’s music but in this case I found it really bare bones and melodically bland. If it says anything, my favorite tracks were st chroma, take your mask off, thought I was dead, and darling I
I see what you mean, I think this might be Tyler’s safest production on any of his albums. I think he takes the least amount of risks with it. But I feel like the writing was def the strongpoint on this compared to the production
same, chromakopia is my third favorite tyler album. I felt like even though the songwriting was great, production wasn't as groundbreaking as for example igor or cmiygl. I know songwriting is also important but come on, everyone knows you come listen to tyler for the production
I’m sorry I just didn’t finish the project 😭 I like what I heard I just didn’t finish it and I didnt want to add projects I didn’t fully experience cause “ppl said it was good”
U gotta check out Xxertified Posse 2 by Lil Xelly. He passed not too long ago but was an incredibly talented artist and made some of his best music last year with Soudiere.
Imma be real, I Lay Down My Life For You kinda exposed Peggy's weaknesses as a rapper - Peggy struggling to find a pocket on New Black History right after Vince effortlessly renegades the whole album is really telling. I really liked the album anyway because Peggy is a top notch producer, but as a _rapper_ and especially a _lyricist,_ he's not really as good as he thinks he is, and he masks his weaknesses with his production. He's also been giving hella weird vibes lately, and I've been losing interest in his music because of it
peggy never said he's a good rapper? He specifically mentioned in the past that he only started rapping because other people weren't able to rap on his beats. He's not that bad either, his performance on jpegultra was great (obv not as good as denzel but didn't stick out either), I also liked either on or off the drugs
this a solid list. u should keep doin these type of vids from time to time
you got me with 100 gigs, I was boutta start typing angrily
