If you’re unsure what a Linkedin carousel is, essentially it’s a Linkedin post with multiple images and you’re able to click through it kind of like a slide deck.
With this post type, you can share multiple image slides (or even pages of a PDF document, or Powerpoint style presentation) in a carousel where users can scroll images similar to how you would see on Instagram.
In this video, I'll demonstrate how to create a PDF document of images, export from Canva, and create a carousel post on LinkedIn.

Hi, thanks for watching. Yes you can tag someone in your post by using the "@" and typing their name after right in the text of the post caption. when you use the @ a drop down should show so you can ensure you are tagging the correct person.

I believe in this video it was square 1080 x 1080 - as that is a common size for social media posts. Try that.

Hi, I'm not sure about this and will test. I have a feeling it won't work, but remember you can always add a clickable link to your main post caption/description so you can try that too.

Not sure I understand this. You can always share a URL within a linkedIn Post or comment - is that what you mean?

Hi. I am think that appears like that if you share multiple images and it displays in a gallery style. I’ve seen that look on Facebook and Instagram but not on LinkedIn.
This is something I came on RUclips just now to try and find out. I want to create that style of carousel ideally because you can see the start of the second page/slide before having to click anything. Anyone know? TIA
Not sure facebook does this. I've seen it more on LinkedIn like this - unless it depends on the "placement" choice of your post but ultimately I think it's up to however Facebook wants to show stuff.

Hi, That's a great question and something you may have to test. I think you could try two things. 1. When you export see if it can embed the video. That may or may not work. 2. Depending on where you have the video in there, and if formatted consistently with the other items, you can add the pdf, then add the video and adjust the order. It may all publish showing as a carousel. Again, just test. If it doesn't work, you an always delete the post. Let me know how it goes.

In canva just select and item and copy and paste as you would on your computer. Then you can move as you need to align. Hope this helps.
Have you ever posted a carousel that was blurry? The pdf file itself is high resolution but when I uploaded it on Linkedin, it's just blurry. I've tried pdf compression but it isn't working at all.
Any ideas?
Blurry. Hmmm - What dimensions is your PDF file? Is it blurry because it's adjusting the size? Only other thing I can think of is that if the PDF file size is too large maybe LinkedIn is compressing it on their end to try to keep the image size smaller for faster loading. Have you tried seeing if you can download the PDF from your post to see if it downloads and looks as it should?

can you share a link to your post? have you sized the PDF correctly? If it's not set to square it may get cut off, if it's created too small it may be getting upscaled in size which can cause your graphics to be blurred.

Hi. I haven’t heard about this but I’ll look into it. I don’t think anything like this would get removed. As LinkedIn owns Slideshare, they want to make it easy for people to share documents and presentations which a carousel basically allows you to do.

They recently removed the button as a main “post type”. But this trick still works. Glad the video helped. Cheers.
Hey, can I ask a question? - My client uploaded their own carousel to linkedin and then have been complaining to me that it doesn't automatically 'slide' to the next frame and can only be done manually. - Are they just being impatient? There isn't a speed setting is there? The documentation I read said that it can be switched by swiping OR if left alone, it will be automatically change. - Thank you!
As far as I know it does not rotate automatically.

Hi, I don't belive they are. That was an announcement from June. They just removed the button for when you create a post. They used to have a specific button to make creating a carousel easy. The way in which you upload a PDF still works, and should continue to.
I tried to design carousel posts but it display arrow but I follow GarryVee his carousel posts don't show the arrow, It shows small graphics like Instagram...Can you please make video on this subject.....If you how to do this please reply

Hi, Can you post a link to that video so I can see what you mean? LinkedIn does show things a bit different than Instagram. One difference was well is that a PDF and Images will be displayed differently. Sometimes if you select a bunch of images they will show as a "gallery" rather than a carousel style. That could be the difference.
I clicked on the photo button in my Linkedin post and selected two photos off my desktop at the same time and they uploaded just fine as a carousel post. Why are we needing to make it a .pdf?
Hi @jeffdavenport - if you are just posting pictures and are fine with them showing up as a "gallery style" in the preview (which then opens to a carousel) then you can do as you outline above. If you want a more streamlined "one-image-at-at-time" style post (even with your first preview image) creating a .pdf file and using that as your post is the way to go. The two styles appear differently.

It sure does. If it's not working for you, you must be doing something wrong. Make sure you select "document" for the post type, then choose a PDF file. And make sure it's sized appropriately.

When I saved the pdf, it saved as a column instead of an a line. What can I do so the pdf saves the images in a line?
