so basically Respawn is saying this is Mad Maggie's season honestly I kind think her heirloom will be the next one because I was thinking that crypto's recolor was gonna be the next one due to all the leaks about the suotamo lore and district map but they already released that so Maggie has a high likelihood of getting hers next especially since Fuse already got his

maggie is actually good legend. I can't understands why she isn't so popular. One of the best passive, one of the best and useful tactic, which is just throughwall-thermit. And great ult which allows to quickly move, stun enemy and destroy doors and Gibraltar's tactical
@@un1queguy24it’s because her passive is shotguns. Damn near every top player uses SMGs. Shotguns are very inconsistent
@@kingcerberus93 this is why I mentioned crypto and,suotamo and district because those were basically confirmed as well but we got none of them the crypto recolor doesn't count as it didn't follow the pattern of how you obtain new heirlooms
Lifelines only positive of her ult was the ability to get better armor. Now with this gone. Her ult quite literally got even more useless then it always was 💀
I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure there will be an armour charging thingy in her ult so the whole team will get exp towards increasing it instead of just one person

40 pocket damage that silences your gun, and early game instant all-white attachments might make him a real contender
frfr. I been running him for the past week and people dont understand the power of that 20 free damage in a 1v1 with the overheat damage AND delay. Its low key op if ur gun play is good..
was thinking the same thing, flatline will be a really powerful sling weapon i think since its white mag adds 5 extra bullets.. getting that off drop would be insane
And that range buff on his ult is a gigantic range increase

What makes me nervous about the shield system is I feel like people are gonna try to avoid fights and just run around all game trying to get their shields to red and it’s just gonna be boring having teammates that just wanna play run simulator
My teammates already run pretty much every game so i'd wager the shield change won't affect that aspect much.
Purple armor will be very easy to do just running around, i hope im wrong

yea but it won’t really change anything from how it is now because the good players will still just push everything and farm there reds from pvp way faster than everyone else and the there loot eco will be way better.

@@rtmkenny9819 they did not improve her ultimate ability and her initial arc snare has been nerved by 5 seconds. I totally agree but it seems like she's all but forgotten.

I can already tell you this will be a problem. Unless the system somehow knows you are headed to the inside. Deep rings that you get caught in as well as high risk rotations for better positioning aren't going to be viable. Gonna piss people off with ring ovality.

@@IceSick88 what? getting caught in a fight far out of ring and having to make the long trek back to is much different than staying in the same spot at a crafter crafting medkits.

@@IceSick88but we don’t really need that do we? I mean, the replicator/crafting changes alone should have been enough to fix the exploit right? Or maybe I’m wrong, but I thought the exploit was to abuse replicators to spam craft medkits. They can’t do that anymore. The ring auto eliminations are a bit too much if you ask me and will make getting caught outside the ring because of a fight feel much worse.

I love the 3030. And it hurts me to see how much they nerfed it. The ammo, damage and reload all took a hit. I expected the reload and a bit of damage, but not the mag size.

Its fr a buff but its also a nerf. It's gonna change comp in a huge way for sure, 70% of comp matches are bangs getting big damage with digi smoke

@@marciliojunior4919Not really sure if players would adjust to just sticking with the RE but we shall see (as someone that likes the RE). The spawn rate for the Digis have been reduced as well, though whether that suffices is the issue.
Gold REs will definitely be a problem.
Well they give Bang a perk to ping people through smoke like a Mirage decoy, so it feels more like an actual Bang buff than anything

I play only crypto so im happy my character did not lose anything honestly love the upgrade so much
Likewise, crypto always seemed fun but seemed like a big downgrade compared to a lot of characters because of the insane micro of his drone, hopefully this will make it more lenient

Yeah you’re right ball been able to pop bubble but it sometimes been bouncing off the bubble this past season randomly

Lol they are just doing a sleight of hand with so many of the ability changes. Half the perks are just getting the legend we already had and making you congratulate them for somehow making the game less stale in that regard. I say that part cynically, but I am glad for the ranked changes.
Bro I 100% agree. Half of the perks are just reverting the legends abilities to previous versions. And b/c we’re so used to barely getting any content from apex, we as a player base are still excited about it, even though it’s just laziness fr. But even with that said, something is better than nothing. This is the most content we’ve gotten from apex in a very long time.
I'm surprised more people arent mentioning this. Like you said half of these perks are just the same legend abilities you already have now except you'll have to work your ass for them now. Which just makes the game even harder for solo players as you'll now spawn with all your abilities nerfed and you'll need a good team to help you get them back to just the default state of what they are now. This is a huge L imo, the ranked changes are good but this sucks.
@@marcgil256 yep we’re somehow stuck in this beggars can’t be choosers loop with this game. They’ve made plenty of good changes in the past, but they also overhype themselves for certain changes that just aren’t worth as much praise as they seem.

I’m a Mad Maggie and Ballistic main. These buffs are everything. Maggie will definitely be meta this season for comp. 2 drills? Wrecking ball lifespan increase? Explosions? Let me get ahold of that Eva, it’s over. (I’m a Watson, Lifeline, and Crypto main, so I’m hype for their buffs/perks as well.

Holy shit thank you respawn for the Ballistic buffs finally we Ballistic mains are eating good out here. Ngl he might become meta because that ult range is absolutely insane now and getting common attachments on the sling weapon especially early game is going to be wild. I can’t wait I’m really looking forward to this new season.

@aman0fculture the perks for ark star spawns and double ults with fast accelerator time sound good to me. The fences are in a pretty good place I feel, she has a lot of uses wattson. Maggie will steam roll with her update 😆

I didn't know it was possible but they nerfed lifeline's ult with this update.
For Crypto, why would you ever use the tac cooldown and ping beacons perk jow? You can easily keep the drone alive and see in drone so theres no point to them.
The Crypto perks are literally just filler. They honestly don't know what to do with Crypto because he's so different from other legends and just doesn't really fit with the game's playstyle.
@@yahootube90 they could've just made it so EMP doesn't slow the team, but they're scared of a more powerful Crypto? Why? They broke other legends way beyond that.

Yeah, getting the charge in gun run was horrible. Kraber seems a little OP since everyone has white armor, but at least it'll be more fun.
I don't know why they're saying on the patch notes that mad Maggie can destroy Gibby's tactical but that's already been on the game for quite some time.

I think overall the patch is good but the fact they still can't stop nerfing catalyst is astounding just make her wall get removed by crypto emp and call it a day also with these nerfs this means that ALL of her perks are just to revert nerfs
I totally agree, Catalyst is getting killed with nerfs, might want to use more watson or caustic now, At least they give her back her 3 spikes with one of the perks.
They did that with a couple legends where they nerfed their abilities but gave us a way to revert those nerfs by leveling up our shields...makes sense...

@@CRF250R1521 bruh i have a pc like an rtx 3070ti with i7 11th gen , i just don't like playing apex on pc, i just play csgo and ets 2 mainly on that and because there is no crossgen.
Yup and if you play on 120fps your aim assist gets a nerf down to pc level so why not just use controller on pc at that point and get more fps

I’m not very happy with catalyst nerfs. It was just brutal and idk why she needed that much. I mean vantage can fly farther than her wall
Yeah I'm so confused why they're hitting her so hard with nerfs, she already feels underpowered atm after her last nerfs and her wall is seriously not strong enough to justify it only lasting 15 seconds

Nah man her ultimate literally splits teams and is a get out of jail free card in 2v3 situations, in most scenarios it’s enough time to get a Rez and maybe a reset, pushing wall you’re at a disadvantage in every situation in diamond+ lobbies even worse in full masters/pred lobbies
Not to mention her ultimate deters 3rd parties if used correctly
