First thing you do after installing the filter is that you need to start the bike and let it in idle for like 10-15 mins for the ECU to adapt to the New Air Filter.
Also, is there a change in exhaust note? Seems a bit bassy and I like it!

When should we change the filter bro ? And when should we wash ?
The performance filter comes with long life like almost 100000km range, so every 3k to 4k km remove it clean it with air blower and put it back, u r good to go
Bro, in which year you bought your interceptor? And after how many kms you are doing all these mods?
I bought it in 2020 n doing it after 25k in odo

@@SoumendraMalikVlogs yes, make sure you do after your warranty lapses, till then make sure you run the stock as much as possible..
is way2speed air filter on par with k&n and BMC air filter according to you?
Not sure, i have only used way2speed and I have not used the rest..
So i cannot comment
there is no significant or always noticeable difference in bike performance, even with much costlier air filters. and there must be reason RE has given black cover instead of stage 2 plate. engine ecu, and other parts are tuned for level of air flow the stock filter gives. I have motowings air filter but don't use stage 2 plate. too much air can disturb air fuel mixture that ecu manages. Remember no matter what filter, exhaust, spart plugs you choose, interceptor can not go like triumph street twin. Thing is new stock air filter and any after rmarket filter perform almost same. How much improvement one feels depends on his expectations.
I buy your point Dhaval, I have said the same thing that interceptor does not need any more modifications to improve engine performance at stock itself it so good.
However, changing air filter or adding powertronic to it does make a certain degree of improvement how it rides and I have felt it. When you ride stock n with performance air filter you Will definitely feel the difference. My bike now makes 170kmph now with this filter before I would only clock 160kmph..
But my intention of making this video was to tell viewers that as stock the bike is good but if u want play around with performance u can try this filter for some time.
Also, adding this air filter wil not damage engine.. and why RE doesn’t add stock bike with stage 2 air filter n snorkel is they are costly and at the market level to cut down the cost n make the bike more affordable to masses they go with regular air filter and also provide basic needed parts to bike, like the halogen bulbs they can go for led but cost cutting, they can go with better instrument cluster again cost cutting.
There were times when i visit the RE service center they did ask if I wanna change air filter to performance one ( not RE one but after market one)
Note:
RE has always made bikes that are at the stage that a customer wants to improve or change or modify he or she should be able to do it according to customer choice. Thats the model they create.

Its been good experience till now, performance has improved if you open the throttle you can feel that jump instantly and range has not affected me..
If you use raise throttle very frequently and go fast or drive rashly it wil drop to 22 or 23
But constant acceleration and maintaining the consistency and good riding will give 25kmpl even in speeds of 90 to 100kmph
And highways it has been 27 if I maintain the speed from 80 to 110kmph
If you go beyond it will drop

Unless your tunning ecu its useless to spend money on a filter. Send extra air inside the engine without extra fuel for what ?
The current ECU stock tuning.. will work fine for this filter… if you want to extract more power u can go for combination of powertronics set from way2speed then u will see more difference… but without that also u can feel diff in stock tuning

Any way @zyzzz6331 just FYI… 650 twins has a ECU which can automatically remap a bit when u slightly change the fuel n air ratio…like wise it also remaps when u change the exhaust as well…so jus changing the air filter also remaps the ECU and sucks the appropriate fuel air mixture required
