Back in the day, when that deck would come up in videos, people would call it in The Sassy Burrito because no one could pronounce it. So, in my head, I will forever hear that when this deck pops up. Lol
I always found this of poor taste/offensive though I know people didn’t mean to be … it’s a Japanese word meaning “wanderer”. Learn how to correctly say it or not (though with smart phones it’s pretty freaking easy to learn it), but maybe don’t make fun of how another language sounds? Especially if you’re not of the culture…. It’s a bad look imo.
@@rachel2880 I totally agree! if white people can learn how to say Dostoyevsky (or whatever else), they can learn how to say Sa-su-ra-i-bi-to. (Again, not all white people but unfortunately /too/ many who just don't even try here on tarot tube 😔. Sorry for the rant, i just feel like it can be disrespectful to reduce the deck's name to "sassy burrito" and people have been saying that for sooo long) Thank you for acknowledging that it can be difficult and really trying to pronounce it though.
Definitely a journaling deck! Also, I associate bow and arrows with Artemis (obv), but also with Chiron and Sagittarius, and archery more generally to align, and then direct one's True Will, so it makes sense as fire/wands to me for that reason. Gemini (air) and Sagittarius (fire) are polarities so it makes sense that way, too. My nodal placements are there so I've clearly thought about this deeply, haha.
YES, please, to a 7 of swords video!!! I LOVE, LOVE the 8 of cups- that one card alone almost made me purchase the deck. Some of the card depictions are just brilliant, but some others bother me enough to hold off on getting it. For some reason, I’m still on the fence. I do appreciate your thoughts and insight on it, and appreciate the review.

Beautiful deck! Love to see a full review! Please DO a video on the 7 of swords. I see the 6 pentacles the same way. An imbalance in a relationship. More one takes more than gives, and the, " giver," may have strings attached ,so tp speak. The generosity may come with a price. I dont see it as balanced , at all..thanks for sharing once again!
Thank you! I agree that it looks like a good beginner deck or a deck good for reading for others. There's something more open, approachable about the art than the RWS. It has a child-like sincerity in the best way- great for Aries season

Not sure how you would feel about the card stock and it is definitely not for the faint of heart. You don’t just get the light and fluffy in the guide book either.
