I'm very excited about this game but I'm wondering why we don't have any game reviews yet when it's supposed to be out in a couple of days.. That worries me but I guess I will see for myself on the 30th!
Now that you mentioned it, usually you would see reviews come out around this time. I assume there's a review embargo, so maybe the reviews will come in the next two days or on release. Regardless, I think Too Kyo Games can do no wrong, this is one of their biggest projects.
@@RazorBladezXthat’s weird, thought the Bonus Digital Novel - “How to be a Master Detective: A Yakou Furio Case” would be available with initial prints of Physical Standard & Limited Edition while standard digital and deluxe were preorder only. At least that’s what I’ve heard. Also, they told me July 14, so it sucks that others might have got their games earlier.
@@Dr.Sho_Minamimoto yeah it’s a shame i actually cancelled my collectors copy. As I was really late for the info on it being delayed . I did not want to wait so I just got the normal digital copy.
I’m new to this genre. Can someone share whether this is just clicking through dialogues with each character and determining which is the culprit? Will there be exploration of the environment to find hidden evidences?
I mean I did explain it in the video, but to sum it all up it isn't just clicking through the dialogue like a visual novel. Everything is in 3D so you can explore and investigate Kanai Ward. A Mystery Labyrinth will open up when you've gathered enough evidence during your investigation and that also has some exploration.
Okay I haven’t played the game yet but I’m pretty sure the god of death is not called shinigami, Shinigami is a japanese word that means god of death or grim reaper, there would make no sense her name beeing shinigami, it would be the same as to name a human baby as Human.
I don't have an exact time, but since there are 6 characters in Amaterasu Corporation and each case has a mystery labyrinth and mystery phantom. There should be at least 6 cases in the story, unless they put two phantoms in one labyrinth, for example. 6 is a good amount of case/chapters in a mystery game, so lengthwise it could be in the double digits (like 15 or 20 hours), however it all depends on how long each case is.
Kodaka haven't answered that specifically however when asked about the time to complete he mentioned that it took 6 full years suggesting it would be even longer than V3 (which took 30-35h to complete). He also mentioned that mystery labyrinths take around 4 hours each (obviously depending on a case) so I'd say we can expect about 40h of gameplay in total.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I assume you're referring to the class trails only and not the other parts like the Hangman's Gambit for example. I would say it was more tedious than hard, since in my experience you would miss your shot sometimes. I see where you're coming from though, I think the QTE's might be a problem for those who can't react, however if the timing is lenient and if you know the answer it should be no problem.
If it's overall, I would say it wasn't too hard especially since you can choose the difficulty of the logic and action sequences. Also, there were skills that you can unlock to help alleviate those sequences. In RAIN CODE, I recall an Famitsu interview where Kodaka said that the action in the Mystery Labyrinth (I assume the Reasoning Death Match) does not increase and they've made adjustments so that you're less likely to get a game over. Also, there's Mystery Labyrinth Skills as well to help with difficulty.
After completing the game (and by that i mean watching someone else complete the game), I find it funny that you use they/them pronouns for Halara considering that the game ends up actually talking about it but ends up unanswered 😂.
Just 4 days left! Can't wait to play this game!
Worth it?

LOL myself and other DR fans are calling the mC the lovechild of Makoto and Kyoko lol.
You know what? I wouldn't be surprise if it was true.
Already pre-ordered the digital deluxe edition last week! So excited!!!!
We're going to be eating good soon! Hope you enjoy it!
Junko will be the final boss phantom .
It’s based on a tv show within the DANGARONPA UNIVERSE…
I mean I wish lol
Kodaka can't keep getting away with it!
Preordered the deluxe of this and Ghost Trick- im gonna be in mystery puzzle bliss in three days
And Ghost Trick? That's a banger of a game. Hope you have fun!
Loved Zero Escape and Danganronpa. I'll be pre-ordering right away!
Hopefully, Master Detective Archives is going to be a hit.
Pre-ordered yesterday. Super excited
Only 3 days left!
Nice video! I love Danganronpa so I am very hype to get my hands on this game. Who is your favorite character design so far?
I think it's between Yakou Furio and Fubuki Clockford. Fubuki's got a labret piercing which you don't see often in designs.

COLLECTORS EDITION INCOMING!!! Sucks I have to wait til July 3rd but it’ll be worth the wait for the cool stuff
Yeah, a bit of a shame it was delayed. I was tempted to buy the collectors but decided not to, hope you'll enjoy all the goodies.
@@jevdaninja thanks!!
Bummed I won’t get the prequel story with it but the digital versions do.
