@@grit203 they are not cinematic universe they are trilogy and yes there is difference. A series of films that revolves around one character, plot or story that has continuation in storytelling is called trilogy or a sequel. But a shared universe on the other hand have multiple stories, plots and leading character which may have connect or no connection at all but comes under one world.
Mcu, dceu, monster verse, dark verse these are called cinematic universe. Now its Marvel that being on top
