    Wow,it was sad,the passing of his son really hit him hard,and I clearly understand how he feels as a father,I lost my only one baby I had yes, few weeks ago,he was 27 yrs,and it really hurt so much,I asked my Lord God to give me strength to cope with it,I just can't accept that my baby isn't with me anymore,I cry all the time,I pray to my lord to give me comfort,I know I'll see my baby again one day,that's why we gotta stay faithful to our God always,cause we don't know when the time is coming,Jesus is coming back soon...Amen!!

      I've lost both of my children, my daughter at birth, her big brother in an accident 17 years ago. While the grief has finally diminished with the passing years, it doesn't ever go away fully, it just becomes easier to bear.

      Hmmm ...I lost my daughter 6 months ago she lives less than 5miles away
      courtesy of the rainbow group I cry all the time about it /// Ex wife and sister were lesb.ians (R) not were I got to watch it happen gradually wich is the worst
      Im very bittter I dont play well with others either I cant bring myself to delete ALL her baby pictures . She never answers the phone texts either in a timley fashion
      I know its not the same to having a child pass away but felt lead by the holy spirit to share blessings to all

    Watching from tornado alley in central Texas. Graham, which is mentioned in the movie, is near where my mother lived. My twin sister lost a home to a tornado. Nothing left. Fortunately, she and her family were living in another house a few miles away at the time.

    • @SubtropicalSugarCoastGardner
      @SubtropicalSugarCoastGardner 7 месяцев назад

      I had a few seconds glimpse of the walls of an F3/ F3.5ish tornado just go past my home , and destroyed my parents home and my neighbors homes , I was approximately 2 meters away when I seen it upclose, I managed to close the door by luck as I didn't open it full I opened it a quarter way to just stick my head and shoulders out , but all my windows burst once I bolted the door , there was burst of red Fire in the air , together with low low spears of Lightning bolts, the air around me in my home was a crackling Ominous orange like glow ... crackling and busting as it disappeared into the air . This happened 1 month ago in a small coastal town called Tongaat in South Africa . It was our first experience, we never imagined it would happened to us. We always thought the northern hemisphere had tornados and hurricanes, guess we where wrong . I have no words to describe the destructive power . But like the old man in the movie said : " The Hand of God"

      Jesus holds the promise that this is not it. He is our hope beyond the grave to immediately upon death to be transfered to the heavenly realm. So many have died and were immediately to heaven, only to be sent back as it wasn't their time yet. But one thing is for sure, they no longer fear death and are eager to go on to the after life. Not only that but some changed after they came back for the better, some not even believers but now have been converted into Christianity. So it's real and as you said, without Jesus, there is no hope. This world is only temporary. Heaven is forever.❤

    • @jb6712
      @jb6712 6 месяцев назад +2

      Absolutely nothing whatsoever at all similar to Job's situation! Not at all, in no way, and there is zero comparison. Job had a far harder, far greater loss to suffer---ALL TEN of his children were killed, and that was only on top of Job suffering boils from head to soles, as well as losing every possession he had. To make it worse, his ragging, nagging wife stupidly told him to curse God and die.
      THIS is nothing but a very poorly made movie with a bunch of really lousy actors, and it's sheer nonsense to say it "reminds" you of Job when you never met Job, nor have you even vicariously experienced what he experienced!

    I don't understand what tornados has to do with his son's death. But it is a fine movie. Not only tornados work when cool and warm moist air collide, the jet stream cold fronts and cool air associated with wind la nina can make tornados more destructive and powerful. but when it comes to him losing his son, I can feel his pain. life is not promised to be easy.

Communication with a couple of so so important it saves the marriage 80% of the time maybe even more than that.

    4 years ago I had a tornado dream. I was in my car and saw 2 huge tornados so I was going to turn and go the other direction but when I did there were several smaller ones. I don't remember if it was 3 or 5 smaller ones. I woke up and prayed for the Lord Jesus to protect us from tornado's that night. When I woke up and turned on the news there had been tornado's in my state Tennessee and Kentucky during the night. 25 dead later reduced to 24 because one was because of something else. Days later after the tornados were rated there were 2 bigger ones and the rest were smaller.

    This movie is way deeper than most people think. It’s a spiritual movie. Not a “religious” one. Religion is man trying to appease God. You can’t appease him. He wants a personal daily relationship with you, not you following a whole lotta traditions and rules made by man. Follow the Bible.
    If you are a born again Spirit filled believer in Christ and you know about the prophetic, trauma and deliverance than you know the issue in this movie is that many churches are ill equipped.
    If this pastor was taught properly he would have made sure the family was born again, counseled them in inner healing and they all would have had Deliverence. The man wouldn’t be mad at God and the pastor would have known the visions of the tornado were warnings from the Lord.
    I have prophetic dreams and visions. And I’ve had tremendous traumas since infancy. I didn’t know anything about trauma and demonic attacks until a few years ago. I’ve never blamed God for what Satan did. But I never got Deliverence and inner healing til recently. I didn’t know it was a thing. It’s a process.
    We can open the door to demons unintentionally because we are not taught this in every church. (Some open them intentionally, with witchcraft) That’s not God’s fault. That’s man’s fault.
    Satan is real. He wants to steal kill and destroy what God made. God gives us free will to choose him or to choose Satan and his world system. You can live in fear and pain and be tormented by demons or you can choose Christ, get filled with the Holy Spirit, delivered and help others to be freed like you were. Or you can follow “tradition” in a dead church who sees no miracles signs and wonders with people we never get delivered because they don’t think it’s a real thing.
    Many church folks say “you will get healed in God’s timing”. So you are saying that someone can live their entire life sick and in pain and God wanted them sick and in pain? NO! You followed a tradition and didn’t seek out God’s help. Deliverence is yours if you seek it. I went looking and God led me to Isaiah Saldivar and his friends who do Deliverence. He has a website with Deliverence ministries around the world.
    Churches near me don’t do that stuff. they are stuck in tradition. I wanted it badly enough. And I am a prophetic dreamer and I see visions. I’m an intercessor. So I was attacked from birth because Satan didn’t want me to be able to use the gifts God gave me in order to help others be freed from demonic oppression.
    Some of the people in insane asylums have an imbalance that can be fixed with detoxing and then diet. They can be deficient is certain minerals. Many are demonically possessed because they inadvertently or purposefully opened the door to the demonic and they weren’t born again so they didn’t have the Holy Spirit living in their spirit. So Satan moved his demons into their spirit and the demons have control over it. A lot of this can happen through horrible traumas.
    A believer in Christ (who has the Holy Spirit living in their spirit) cannot be possessed. But they can be oppressed. Demons attack their soul (mind, will, emotions) and body. Many churches say “pray and resist”. Those folks aren’t dealing with the demons the next generation is. You can’t resist a demon who is attacking you sexually in your sleep. You need deliverance.
    If you don’t believe God is real I dare you to challenge him. Say, “God, if you are real reveal yourself to me in a way that I can’t deny that you are indeed real”. I double dog dare you.

    Yhis movie reminds me of another tornado movie called Twister where there is a tornado hunting group where one member''s father was killed by a category five tornado when she was a little gir. The nightmare of his father''s death followed her into adulthood but luckily not quite on this scale.

    Not only is this not a disaster movie, the use of theology is so "off" it's disturbing. This is a movie of a man who is dealing with grief.

    It had good potential. A little bit of cheese if you ask me. The word of god constantly expressed in this film was a bit too much for my palate. I give it a 5 out of 10.

    I don’t know what to think about this movie. I felt bad for Thomas because no one believed him and he himself, I think thought he was going crazy. Trying to analyze the dreams and figure out what he was about was absurd.

    Theres one thing that is slightly funny. When he had the gun to his head the cop was ready to shoot him. Its like if the cop shoots that will prevent Tom from doing it. Either way hes dead. How is killing Tom preventing a death?

    Try opening the freezer to stop the Tornado, the cold will despensate the temperature of the up draft at heating I hope the result will stop it in its tracks. Its a theory, I don't have a laboratory to test the result.

    The movie wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either, and in my opinion, they should have added the psrt where the town getting destroyed Instead of leaving it at the point where the town just starting where the tornado touches down. 😢

      Ptsd: flashbacks, hyper vigilance or startle reflexes, night terrors, teeth. grinding, flash anger And in the worst cases psychotic episodes where you are having visions. They all can be addressed if you know how the brain works and how to process and reprocess traumatic experiences. They can show up immediately or years later. Key is to find out if they are from guilt or fear. Face the fear or vulnerability by reframing the experience. You did the best you could. You are strong And you can face down the fear. When you face it it goes away.
