Isadore- my chair that I hold is the chair of equality. You are correct. It is true, that in order to hold equality within our kingdom, I am of higher ranking and subordinace.. Their is no other way to hold equality.
love this video I learn way more it was more understanding for me
What in the actual 😮. This video contradicted itself. Some examples of situations defined as “equality” are actually about equity. 😅
We'll finally truly all be equal when we're DEAD
"If we make them equal by force, if we put the principle of equality in the basis of our social political structure, it’s the same thing as building a house on sand." Yuri bezmenov.
no
Equity and Equality cannot be the same but rather share the remarkable pole on each side. Equity applied bring a sense of equality whilst applying equality itself can remove equity.
Equality of opportunity and equality of outcome is not the same thing. Equality of opportunity should mean all peoples have the same chance of success. If you have to give a blind person or poor person more support to enable equal opportunity for them then great. At that point the differential between people should hopefully be ability. Equality of outcome would be forcing those less able into roles they are not suited to, nor capable of, that's not a positive thing!
Its Kind of a mute point anyway as we don't have true equality anywhere in the world, true 100% equality is impossible in the world as it is, regardless of how hard you try. I'm not saying its not worth trying to make the world a more fair place, but you should not be deluded into thinking 100% equality is possible within our current systems. Most of the world is structured to keep the rich at the top via advantaged education, contacts (mostly made during their advantaged education), and upbringing - equity. Adjusting for the equity of an advantaged upbringing and education would oft-times be impossible, the damage has already been done. True equity would have to start from birth and that will never happen for obvious reasons - kids would have to be brought up in the same way and educated to the exact same standard (adjusted for any disability's) then the only difference would be natural ability...hopefully, but that's obviously pie in the sky and not going happen.
Well then what do you call first and second class seats on trains and flights? .. i know its not the same thing right.....
I bet you right now that the first thing in the search engines mean the same
What's the best human example of equality?
slavery
This video confuses equality with equity which are not the same thing.
This is the Best explanation I've ever had... Thanks for that powerful message
