    Love it. Well thought out boat. For the price point I’m still interested in a Nordkapp airborne 8.

    I don't understand - this is the same price as a Porsche 911 Turbo! Think of all the tech that is in the car compared to a rib!! Agree that the Porsche does not have a toilet though! :)

    New enough to boating but struggling to see why anyone would spend 150k on a boat like this? What do you do with it?

      @@TrueFilterpride of ownership etc.
      Why do some people drive old cars, whilst others drive the brand new version? It’s all about the depth of your pockets and the amount of your outgoings.

      150k is certainly pushing the boat out so to speak, I’d argue an equal amount of fun boating could be had spending circa 50k on a rib. Recent Inflation and brexit could be responsible for 1/3rd of this boats cost.

    In what way is this an "explorer?

    • @PhilbyFavourites
      @PhilbyFavourites Год назад

      In the same way a Range Rover is designed to tackle all hostile terrain across many miles of vast open spaces.
      And is then used solely to mount the kerbs in Waitrose car park…. Think advertising and capability, most of it woefully under-utilised by the typical family owner.
