Lil' Buck is a really talented instructor. It seems to be from a well edited script, because he didn't make so many common flaws like repeating himself more then needed, saying umm a lot, or leaving important information out. He also seemed to be friendly and having a good time. The information on toe strength was most helpful. I started looking at these videos to see if these Jookers were using special shoes with hardened bottoms or something. Guess all that conditioning and practice just makes it look like magic though. Also he has a great sense of showing different angles/profiles. Bottom line; really great instructor. If dance doesn't work out; do that.
Michael Lake Also, I don't mean he should do dance instruction. He should do it for something he can make real money for like medical equipment usage, or options trading, or a new MANPADS, or something.
As a dancer, a crease in your shoe can be a good thing. Just shows that you use your feet and not keep them flat on the ground all the time BUT that varies from style to style
WOW THANK YOU!!! Iam so new to this jookin dance style and I love it. Thank you for a easy tutorial. Bless your little dancing heart. I tried another tutorial but it wasnt as good as yours. You ROCK!
Lol there are videos of lil buck on youtube of him back till like 2007 or 08 of him doing toe moves. Don't be discouraged if its taking a little time cause Lil buck been doing this for a while now.
larry les twins does that move all the time and killer variations of it..a real master :) but his height and body type and swagg make it stand out even more :) Regardless who made that move.. to many of fans all over the world he owns it lol
Does it really matter what kind of shoes you have I’m really now just getting into this I really wanna learn i always been a good dance never took it seriously I want to now
+CONJoint Air force ones, adidas shell toes, Griffey max 1's, retro 4-7 & 11's, Jordan flights, etc. once you get started, you get a feel for which shoes are best for you.
Larry has a very rich footwork, but its nothing like jookin. His moves are very different from that! I'm a huge fan of both, and always trying to learn their moves, and I can say they are very different to perform. Jookin is much more focused on balance on your toes, while larry's moves are in one leg, but most of them are done with the ball of his feet, or ball and heels.
WARNING TO THOSE WHO ARE LEARNING TO DANCE: Do not learn to stand on your toes from youtube. Trust me on this one, I learned how to dance through youtube and ended up working as a dance teacher and that strength in my toes/feet was something i had. I say "had" cuz in the end, I dislocated my knee when I one time couldn't keep my balance.
I learnt dance off RUclips and I am too a dance teacher, if you dislocate your knee it just shows a lack of understanding and technique. Standing on your toes is basic stuff, yes it takes practice but you can't blame RUclips tutorials for your injury
Easy for you to say for you, but it will most likely happened to you aswell even if you don't "lack of understanding and technique". And when it does, get back to me.
A lot of dancers already have bad knees and usually that's just do to the impact of a lot of different moves, not necessarily just by going on your toes
Why was more impressed when he let go of the imaginary wall
This guy is not only an AMAZING dancer but he's an excellent teacher!
Lil Buck is doing the advanced Jookin tutorials. I know his style is amazing and captivating BUT MAKE SURE YOU HOLD THAT WALL.
I was a ballerina for 14 years of my life......watching these guys(kids) use their sneakers as point shoes....makes ballet look like childs play.

Jordans retro 9s would be good for this
larry les twins does that move all the time and killer variations of it..a real master :) but his height and body type and swagg make it stand out even more :) Regardless who made that move.. to many of fans all over the world he owns it lol

you should research jookin bro. its been around way longer. 30 years strong
Dig this urban ballerina style! What sort of shoes should one invest in to get practicing? Like, Adidas shell toes? Thanks!

Thor Von Eden you started off on a lol, you wasn't ready for.
How exactly is that RUclipss fault?
concord 11's
jookin came from gangsta walkin from back in the mid 80's looks nothing like turf bro. two completely different styles
Bro it hurts when I do that toe stall
gotta build strength in ya toes dawg!
It's always gonna hurt a little bit, especially outside. But you get used to it with practice
He dances in his 11's cuz he got mote to spare
Опять второй! да что ж за нафиг!
Les Twins!!
Em.. They actually took a lot from Lil Buck, he is head an shoulders above them.
Yeah I didn't realise until I had seen more from him
Shufter false he isn't head and shoulders above them
Mike-CHillz in jookin he is. Twins borrowed a lot... And in 1vs 1, Lil Buck would win.
dancing in ur 11's smh lol
