Havent picked up my guitar in months but this popped up in my yt recommended and man its incredible, at first i was floored by your voice that i didnt even realize you were playing left handed and then was once again blown away when i saw you were just playing a right handed guitar upside-down and then playing the chords backwards. Valentines day is coming, been off a relationship for almost a year now, but I still have regrets that I face, telling myself I could have been, I could have done this, or I could have done that. You did your best with where you were at the time. I know that because that is what you did. And in the future with other relationships you can be a better partner with what you've learned. It's really hard though, I just got out of a 6 year long relationship. She's with another partner now and the thing that helped me the most was having a forgiveness practice. It's good that you wish the best for her, but you need to do the same for yourself. Like someone else said you did the best you could at the time, and that's true. Everything that happens, happens for a reason, so just accepting it is the only thing that can be done. It happened so that you could learn from it. Everyone in retrospect can say they could've done better, but could you have really have, without learning the lessons that came with this past relationship? Be kinder to yourself and have some compassion for yourself. We all make mistakes but that's just life. And in the end she isn't the end all be all, there's many more people out there who probably even suit you better. Just forgive yourself, accept fate, live your life, and time will heal. And as a side note, took me some time to realize too, but if you're having a hard time knowing she happy with someone else, you gotta realize that's your ego talking. It hurts because you think that you weren't good enough. Don't think that way, that insecurity will tear you apart. Realize that not everyone's meant for eachother, and just because she's happy with someone else doesn't mean that you are inadequate. Just means you haven't met the right person yet

I have to say this is the second Mac song where i find myself truly impressed at the delicate touch, ill admit i expect people to miss out of the vibe or content but this was mesmarising.
Valentines day is coming, been off a relationship for almost a year now, but I still have regrets that I face, telling myself I could have been, I could have done this, or I could have done that. It's hard living with the reality that the person I loved the most finds genuine happiness without me. It sounds selfish, but I do wish her the best. As for me, I'm just passing by. It definitely gets better. Trust in the time it takes and it's normal to take some more time to heal than others , i've been in a similar situation like many, many others have been. Guess what? It got better!!! :)

You did your best with where you were at the time. I know that because that is what you did. And in the future with other relationships you can be a better partner with what you've learned. It's really hard though, I just got out of a 6 year long relationship. She's with another partner now and the thing that helped me the most was having a forgiveness practice. For myself, for her, for her new partner. And at this point, I'm just happy she found love again and am looking forward to my future relationships with all I've learnt. Stay strong man
It's good that you wish the best for her, but you need to do the same for yourself. Like someone else said you did the best you could at the time, and that's true. Everything that happens, happens for a reason, so just accepting it is the only thing that can be done. It happened so that you could learn from it. Everyone in retrospect can say they could've done better, but could you have really have, without learning the lessons that came with this past relationship? Be kinder to yourself and have some compassion for yourself. We all make mistakes but that's just life. And in the end she isn't the end all be all, there's many more people out there who probably even suit you better. Just forgive yourself, accept fate, live your life, and time will heal.
And as a side note, took me some time to realize too, but if you're having a hard time knowing she happy with someone else, you gotta realize that's your ego talking. It hurts because you think that you weren't good enough. Don't think that way, that insecurity will tear you apart. Realize that not everyone's meant for eachother, and just because she's happy with someone else doesn't mean that you are inadequate. Just means you haven't met the right person yet
