    The spinning back kick is less a grazing move more than a finishing move. The back kick generates a lot of torque and can drop someone if properly timed. Look at the power around 6:26. That is directed right into the center mass. That would hurt like hell.

    I understand that this is a high level practitioner, but he drops his eyes immediately after each kick and this causes a lack of follow through and power. Eyes on target before , during and after kick. This will allow good power and recovery. I think habits like these can creep up on even top guys.

      You say he is high level practitioner! Nishimura Sensei is the coach for the National Japanese team and has won numerous gold medals in his tournament career and you are giving him Kumite lessons! Unbelievable how uninformed some people are when they make these foolish comments.

      No disrespect to this sensei I’m sure he is good trainer for there style of tournament fighting, but unfortunately in a real kickboxing, Muay Thai fight they have never been trained/ sparred to deal with head punches as you can see with how low they carry there hands

      @@steveaustralia3193 so what? also basketball players and swimmers aren't trained to fight in muay thai, what's the point in your statement? I bet a real kickboxer isn't trained / sparred to deal with guns either and I bet no muay thai guys train to be good at formula-1.... this 'compare everything to muay thai' bullshit must stop already, it was old 20 years ago...

    • @steveaustralia3193
      @steveaustralia3193 Год назад

      @@ScytherOnSpree i compare it against Muaythai, kickboxing and boxing because they are real full contact forms of fighting, I’m sure this style that we are commenting on would be ok in you want to compete in as a non contact sport

    The Tae Kwon Do has the best kicks than Karate.

      MrSinistroman karate kicks desing to hurt, damage taekwondo kicks designed to score point they are weak, i trained muay thai and kyokushin karate entire life, had sparring with many taekwondo guys they always get hurt when i block their kick with shinbone, or forearm, because they always use body protector no condition no power at all.

      +Janissary m That's actually another story. Taekwondo and Karate kicks are actually very similar as far as Kumite is concerned. Karate has actually more kicks designed for self-defense, like the Kihon Mawashi-Geri coming from the side, which is very helpful in a close range self defense situation, as you cannot bring your knee to the front without being stopped by the body of your aggressor.

      sassuki TKD has step and it´s very important to kick better.

      MrSinistroman What do you mean by "has step"? I don't understand.
