- It's our first time visiting and exploring Hmongtown Marketplace together! Hmongtown Marketplace is an amazing place rich with culture, great food, beautiful products and so much more! Food in Hmongtown Marketplace is very similar to most southeast asian cuisines. Although, with their own unique twist! A city with a huge hmong community comes equipped with a night/day marketplace that provides an awesome experience, makes you feel like you're not Minnesota but more so in Asia! We love the experience so much that we highly recommend it to yall! So whenever you come to Minnesota, don't forget to visit the Hmongtown Marketplace, you'll love it! The people their are so kind. :)

the noodle, chicken + soup dish definitely looks like something up my alley!!! It's been cold where I am so that's like PERFECT!!! I LOVE SESAME BALLS SO SO MUCH!!! ive never actually tried one with mung bean filling
Noodle soup always hits home on a cold day! :) Sesame balls are the best! I think we enjoy all flavors ^_^
Yup, pork belly is always always a must!! 😍 It looked super crunchy too!! And sushi to finish off the day...You guys are killing us here

You two are always eating the best foods! That soup looked so good! I’m a sucker for sesame balls. The taro one sounds so good 😋 and yum sushi, can’t ever go wrong with that!

Yesss been waiting for you guys to make a video on the Hmong Village!
Long overdue! :)
Nice. Next time y'all come back, try Hmong Village. It's on Johnson Parkway and Phalen Blvd which isn't too far from there; about five minutes at most. They have a larger and a bit more diverse food court and facility is a bit larger. Come back soon!
oooh thank you for the recommendation! Will definitely be checking it out soon ^_^
Yesss agreed! So much better than the Como one!
Nice place to spend a day off! Thanks guys!
Thank you! :)
papaya salad is my favorite! My perfect combo with Hmong sausage or fried pork belly and sticky rice.
Ohhh yeah that’s sounds bomb!
That Hmong plaza is where the action is at! I want them sesame balls, just like them ones in the dim sum restaurants. 😎
heck yea!! We don't even think most of the shops were fully open that day too!
The sesame taro balls looked really nice too, my parents always make that for us when we go visit :)
It's always a good snack! Always had it when we were younger too :) Lucky you parent's would make it fresh!
I love markets like that! you always find the most obscure and interesting things at them.
stephen LOVES takoyaki! he gets them every time he goes to Japan. I’m waiting to go with him again so I can finally try them.
@@StephenandAndie Hopefully soon! It's life changing over there :)

Hey guys, Saint Paul looks pretty cool. We haven't visit Minnesota yet, i think we should.
We highly recommend if you ever make a visit! :)
Pork belly is always a good call.
Amen to that!
Very cool market! We have some marketplaces for different cultures in Stockholm, but it's mostly all a mix of everything - nothing that's e.g clearly just Asian like this.
ooh we're sure they're just as cool! Kind of wish there would be more of a variety of markets like these around, we find them fascinating :)
@@AimlesslyDrifting My first impulse was to say that they're nothing special here...but then again, everything that's new is exciting to some people, so maybe they would be cool. Either way, markets are definitely awesome! :)
lol when he said the L stands for loser. Glad you guys enjoyed Hmong village and sushi. You guys should also check out Union Hmong Kitchen if you get the chance.
It is an amazing market place 👌👌
Stay safe.

These dogs just always want to explore but then when they find out what's out there they be like you know what I had it good where I was at lol. My favorite kind of sushi is a spicey tuna roll. Actually that's the only kind I eat.
lol very true! but ay, that's a bomb roll! Can never go wrong with that
Pork belly is the best food in the world no contest haha :D
We could not agree with this any more! lol
Sushi is really hard to get to go. It's been really hard since the pandemic began, to find a good way to get some.
Right?!
I see that yall love pork belly as much as I do 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Heck yea girl!
Yo she was trying get out during at the drive thru 😂

You guys should go to the newer Hmong Village shopping town. It’s a lot better and bigger with better things. It’s all in one building. It has everything in it.
Edit: what’s your guys ethnicity?j/w
Yess a lot of people are recommending it to us. We’ll definitely go there next time!
Lily is Vietnamese and P is Cambodian :)
May I ask what is your ethnicity?
Of course! Lily is Vietnamese and P is Cambodian!
My next door neighbors work there they have a restaurant there!
Khao piak is a Lao dish, so is Khaopoon =)
Haha yes we know but we thought maybe its a hmong version? with their own little twist? but maybe not we're not experts, just fatties that like to eat hehe :) thanks for the info tho!
