This was a super fun episode. Not every episode has to be spooky just weird or unexplained phenomenon is dope
As a tabletop RPG fan, real life stories about lost cities are great fodder for the imagination. Great episode keep up the good work.
Cortes encountered the Aztecs, not the Incas
Great episode as always! Im South American, born raised and living here, and personally ive never heard anyone talk of the Titanoboa as a cryptid, most people seen to either never have heard of it or know that its an extinct snake... so I dont really know where you guys got that from haha but again, South America is a big place so I guess someone, somewhere here surely must believe in the titanoboa not being extinct. Anyways, if you guys want to talk about snake-like creatures from South American folklore/mythology (and possibily cryptozoology haha) I'd recommend you search for the Boitatá, the Boiúna and the Yacumama :)
The Selk'nam tribe in Argentina have some pretty spooky and surreal costumes. Definitely worth a read/look.
Great episode fellas, I’m down to listen to you talk about anything weird
"They would snort pure surgar and .. cry" 😂
"Whatever happens, don't befall my fate yourself." is basically how I sign these comments.
For Mexico City, that would be the Aztec capital city. Their history was short but astounding. I have been learning more myself. The personal gardens built for the leaders with baths overlooking the entire city. It sounds just crazy.
Hell yeah
Tight, I like cities
I love this series and can't wait for the next segment!
Fire Saturday ritual
Haha, I forgot that I used to 'inject' mechanical pencil lead into myself in high school. Thanks for making me remember that, Johnny
México is north America, not south.
Adventure Show
This reminds me of Paddington fr
I wanna know where da gold at!
I dig this kind of story
Re: mechanical pencils as heroin
We would always pretend those stacking point pencils were drugs/vaccines
Apparently dreaming of dead snakes or killing a snake is good luck
You might want to check out the book America Before by Graham Hancock. It covers a lot of similar topics regarding the history of South America and especially the Amazon before European contact.
FYI Mexico is not considered South America
Jamaica is North America
