Easily, without question one of the best combo demonstrations I've seen on RUclips. Very awesome and extremely informative. Was considering making young link or at least a really strong secondary. This video confirmed that for me. Now I know that big link doesn't have many sword combos but a video on the options he does have would be greatly appreciated.
I take it back, just saw the link video you posted yesterday. Please don't stop making these kinds of videos!

Down air, bounce for the second hit, into up air is my favorite early combo. I've started so many stocks with a 40%+ lead off of that.

If you havent discovered this combo try it out its pretty fun! Fh bair -> up tilt -> rising sh bair -> fh bair (young links bair is so fast he can do 3 kicks in one short hop as long as you keep on holding forward on the control stick) -> up tilt -> bair -> bair!!

The concept of dragging down with Link works just the same. However it's really rare to actually land that fair because nothing sets up into it (Down tilt doesn't work, and bomb is obviously different). But if you do land it tho... Oh boy.
This is beautiful. Too bad half of them require insane timing and directional control skills.

The precision needed to use those combos though shows that you can’t spam projectiles with him. You need to do A LOT more with him. Also, try not to feel bad about not having elite smash. It’s just stupid due to the lag online along with the fact that you can get elite smash by cheesing it by turning items on in order to get that elite smash due to the settings working more towards casual and less experienced players. If you truly want to get better online, just use smash ladder instead.

Probably my favorite and it's super easy
After throwing the bomb down onto enemy from above, knocking them up towards you, down air. This will knock them up to level with you, then perform up special.

cant beat boomerang > shorthop arrow > full hop arrow > upb
that combo is the reason i started playing yink

theirs heaps of variations too like: bomb > shorthop boomerang > fh arrow > dair. yink's projectiles all combo well into eachother. it's fun to mess about in training mode
nothing beats bomb> fair1 > d tilt > into down air

People make combos look way too easy to do when they’re actually hard. However, some of Young Link’s projectile combos are actually pretty easy to do

The run up reverse up tilt. Where can I find a video on that? I don't know the name of the tech so yt is giving me other results.

3:12 I can’t get these boomerang to boomerang combos to work and I don’t know why. I tried same characters, same percents, and smash throwing vs tilt throwing, but it doesn’t count it as a combo on my reader and it didn’t work in an online match. What could I be doing wrong?
The combo counter has changed and the hitstun of the boomerang may have been lowered behind the scenes.
Are these all 100% true or just very hard to escape
Of course they aren't 100% true..
These are true combos, practice them and use them in your games.
Most of these seem pretty true
However, they are all on ganon, the fourth heaviest in the game, one of the slowest, And with some of the fewest escape options.
At low percents try Nair, down tilt, Fair boomerang upwards

I could! But link actually doesn't have that many sworded combos compared to Yink. Bombs make up for it tho

It depends on what range you're at. If you hit the arrow at really close range or point blank then it doesn't combo. Try approching with short hop arrow at mid range. Only at mid range can you reliably combo with arrow into forward air (though other aerials besides down air are easier to combo at close range) and it should work on every charactet
@@spoodymans yeah I know you can combo it into both hits of fair but I only want the dragdown into a dtilt or anything else I can do it realiably with bomb and boomerang but can't do it with arrow I'll try out the short hop arrow into it though to see thanks

How did you do that RAR on a dime?
Very impressive strings, but seeing how few of them were kills is concerning to say the least.
Shade you can't have combos + kills in a character often, however a simple bomb/arrow/boomerang into up smash/ fair on the edges will kill consistently
Yoink has tons of kill confirms around 120-130. This may seem high, but this video shows you that you can easily get to 100 with 2 bomb combos, so not so bad:)

Been maining link since melee and I can't even remotely begin to pull of anything I saw in this video
I don't, sadly. But you should joing your character's discords channels, they're helpful!
If you find the tech shown in the video absolutely impossible to perform, I recommend watching Izaw's Art of Smash series that will teach you how the game works. If you know how to perform all of these but struggle on the execution... practice makes perfect:)

How do you safely do bair, I always do a fair instead
If you mean approaching with bair, i wouldnt recommend using bair in neutral unless you’re crossing up shields
If you mean using bair properly to extend combos, you should look up the following terms:
Reverse aerial rush (RAR) bair
Turnaround bair
Attack cancel bair
All 3 techniques are extremely viable and important. Izaw, mysmashcorner and other good smash channels explain these really well.

First hit bair fast fall f smash
Fair 1 to down smash is not a true combo
I went to training mode to test this and it seems fair hitstun scales with enemy percent. You might have tried it at too low damage. To give an example the lowest possible fair 1 from a short hop is +12 against a grounded Inkling at 100% which makes a down smash follow-up possible.
